“I booked Hotel Sal Andina through Expedia for three nights, but my experience was extremely disappointing. Expedia stated that English and Spanish were available, but I could not communicate with any staff member in English. All explanations were in Spanish, so I had to use a translation app every time. This made even simple interactions stressful. Expedia also advertised a 24-hour front desk, but staff were not actually available 24 hours a day. I had a prepaid tour departing at 3:30 AM, but……

“O hostel é muito arrumadinho e agradável. Ótimo para viajantes solo ou com amigos. E o bar é maravilhoso.”

“This hotel was excellent. The property is in a convenient location right near the main square and tourist offices. The breakfast was delicious and the room was lovely and clean. The room was also very warm and hot running water which was very welcome!! The staff are very friendly and helpful, I would certainly recommend a stay here.”

“Overall good stay. Friendly staff!”

“Bed is bad. But staff is kind. Location a litter outside. ”

“The staff was friendly. However, the bathroom did not seem to have been properly cleaned before our stay. Also, the host was asleep when we wanted to enter the hostel around 11 p.m. We had to wait for about 10 minutes and keep calling before he woke up and opened the door.”

“Great location, big clean room with a lovely hot shower. Breakfast was ok. Only negative was that i feel the hotel overcharged us when we asked them if they could book a taxi for us to the airport.”

“It was such an inexpensive place that it is really impossible to give anything but high marks. We only stayed a few hours before leaving after mid night to catch our flight. I can not give 5 stars because of the horrible check in system. My husband, myself, our driver stood in front of the building with no idea which gate we are supposed to go in. We kept ringing the bell next to the gate. After a few minutes we saw that the gate was unlocked. So, we went inside the yard. There are two doors.……

“have lift, good water, hot, good”

“Nice location, close to restaurant and shopping, the breakfast was good”

“The location is centrally location, but it is on a major street corner and once it hits 5am, you won't sleep much if you have a street side room. The breakfast was very good.”
