“Staying at Fugen-in Temple in Koyasan was an incredible experience. The atmosphere is peaceful, the staff are welcoming and kind, and everything was beautifully taken care of. The room are clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The temple is located right in the heart of Koyasan, which made it very easy to walk everywhere and explore this magical place. Four japanese style bedrooms that lock separately, two toilets and showers, a spaceous kitchen, and one big shared living area which is lovingly decorated with traditional japanese decoration and furniture. “A little difficult to find if you are walking, but the owner was lovely, and went out of his way to help me and my friend. The hotel itself was very comfortable, good wifi and a comfortable shared space.”

“Tucked away above the bar/cafe, this onsen was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very traditional in the Japanese style, and we had access to the entire area as we were the only guests staying on that night. The staff were completely lovely and helpful. The showers and toilets were well kept and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect to walk around and explore Koyasan. Definitely worth a visit!”

“人に会わずチェックイン・チェックアウトができるのでスムーズに出来て良かったです。 お部屋もキレイに整っていて気持ちよかったです。 駐車場も無料で とってもありがたかったです。 ただ、2日間になると車の車種を伝えているのにもかかわらず、普通に停めたらドアが開かないくらいの狭い所に停めるように看板が立てておりスタッフも居ないので相談も出来ず……でも、何とかギリギリで停めて助手席から出ました💦 ”
