“The hotel was very grotty. The room was very small. The ceiling light fitting had exposed wires. The bathroom lino was jagged & torn in places. Very loud vent below bedroom window. Badly decorated & dated. The hot water was boiling(though there was a warning sign) The staff were pleasant though & the room was cleaned every day by friendly ladies.”

“The room was not available when we arrived despite making the full payment online.. I had to stay in car with my young children and elderly mom throughout night as there were no hotel rooms available at that time.. money not yet refunded. Raised complaints as well.. no response”

“Love the site, we also stayed in 2025. As for the caravan, it probably needs a overhaul. My Granddaughter was constantly getting stuck in the small bedroom, as the handle needed replacing/mending. Both the single bed mattress springs were showing through the material, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. No extra bedding as I was very cold at night with just a very thin (4.5 tog duvet) the other duvets were a lot thicker. Carpet in the living area was filthy. Paid for 3 days WiFi but……

“We had a lovely stay here with our baby and toddler. The location was excellent just a short walk to the beach, and the castle was directly opposite, which looked beautiful lit up at night. There were plenty of nearby shops, cafés and places to grab breakfast, food and ice cream, making everything really convenient. It’s also a great spot for anyone who enjoys fishing. The only downside was that the hotel was a little run down and could do with some updating. However, it wasn’t particularly……

“The hotel and the owners were superb. We were on second floor which meant quite a few stairs to climb but the owners moved us down a floor the day after arrival to a much larger room with a lovely sea view and of course fewer stairs. The breakfast were first class. My husbands full English was “the best” he said and my fresh fruit was delicious with so many different varieties of fruit you couldn’t count them. Nothing was too much trouble for owners and they were so welcoming and delightful.……
