“I made a reservation several months in advance; however, upon my arrival, I was informed that it could not be located. I spent two hours waiting for the staff member to locate my reservation, during which she repeatedly asserted that it was unavailable. I subsequently took a photograph of her alongside my reservation confirmation. Upon her realization that I had discovered that she had found my reservation, she attempted to offer an apology but still insisted that I remit payment, despite having……

“Great stay in a great location”

“Very small rooms but not cramped. The room was spotless, free slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, and disposable towel. Showers and toilets are cleaned between each use. Hotel entrance was a little hard to find but I found it in a couple of minutes. Metro station Changshu (lines 1 and 7) is pretty much across the street. Easy to get to Shanghaiqioa high speed train station , and Pudong airport (only one transfer each). Easy access to most places in Shanghai. I liked the chain so much I am staying……

“Hele lieve mensen, alleen is dit geen hostel maar een plek waar Chinezen op een kluitje wonen op zoek naar een baan. Niemand spreekt Engels. Het is zeker een manier om te ontdekken hoe het merendeel van de Chinezen in Shanghai leven. Maar ik ben blij dat ik een andere plek heb gevonden, wat zeker niet makkelijk was zonder internet of toegang tot Googlemaps.”

“Hotel was in a great location. Close to all attractions and events. Close to tourist areas and shopping. Lots of restaurants near by. The only thing I didn’t like about this hotel was that it was such an inconvenience for cars to enter and exit the hotel. Staffs were somewhat friendly but lack English. It was hard to communicate with one another even with translators. ”

“I booked through Expedia in New Zealand. Arrived in Shanghai at the hotel, there was no reservation made. Expedia have been paid but not booked the hotel. The online support is a contradiction to the word support. I had to rebook at the hotel. The messages left with Expedia AI have not been replied to. Expedia, to most people this is known as a scam. Please be resposible and return the payment I made to you.”

“Convenient ”

“Very value for money. It's a short 5 mins walk from the metro which connects directly to the bund (also walkable from the hotel in about 20 mins), yu gardens, xin tian di and much more. There are good restaurants, bars and bakeries around the vicinity as well. The breakfast shop right beside the hotel attracts huge crowds from 10pm onwards. Only downside is inconsiderate hotel guests whom we suspects smokes at the window at the end of the corridor which unfortunately is not too far from our……
