“Quiet. Clean room. Good location.”

“Admittedly I was only there for one night and there was a large group activity on during my stay. The host was helpful but only gave the bare minimum of information, the property has so much potential however it’s rather tired which was disappointing and the fight with the cold or boiling hot shower was a challenge.”

“Located right on Main Street in the centre of Historic Barkerville, the room and the parlour (to which I had complete access and could curl up with a cup of tea and a book) fit the time period perfectly. Even the gracious and helpful proprietress was in period costume.”

“The room was clean and comfortable, close to the pool and exercise room. Downtown parking about a 1 block walk which is not too much of an inconvenience. It appeared that some patrons parked all night in the front loading zone which made it harder to pack luggage in the car in the morning. However, all in alla good stay.”

“Is exactly as advertised. It is in the country about a half a kilometre from the lake. There are horses, dogs & cats to enjoy. My room was spacious & comfortable. There’s also a common room & a common kitchen with your personal mini fridge. The hostess offered to prepare breakfast & dinner, presumably for a fee but I travel self-sufficient & was very comfortable preparing my own meals & dining in the common area & in the beautifully set up lawn area on the day the weather complied.
