“The location is amazing and you have a parking for the car just in front of the hotel.”

“La recepcionista es encantadora. El check in fue lento, y se retrasó como una hora de las hora prevista. Nos tocó un bajo. La terraza estaba llena de hormigas. La ducha es adaptada para personas con movilidad reducida, pero si viajas con un niño eso significa agua por todas partes y el suelo del baño mojado todo el día, lo que no es nada higiénico. Usamos el sofá cama y el colchón pra una noche bien, no para más. Muy buena ubicación. Te dan opción parking pagando un suplemento.”

“It was very quaint looking had a lot of character.. very old, beautiful wood floors. The breakfast room was absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast was really good! There are lots of other areas on site that were also inviting, but the weather is very hot so we did not enjoy those. The rooms are not very big but adequate for my husband and me. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would recommend getting a parking space and getting breakfast!”

“Very clean. Comfy, queen-size bed with crisp white linen. Lovely, helpful staff, and an excellent location a couple of minutes' walk to the main beach, the town with bars and resaurants, and the train station across the road. But the hotel needs some TLC - the bathroom door didn't shut, the toilet rocked when sat on, there were flickering lights above the basin, and the floors were worn. The air con was powerful, but very noisy as it clicked on and off, so we had to turn it off in the middle of……

“The hotel has been created out of an old school and it’s lovely to see it given a new life. We liked having breakfast in the garden (which used to be the playground) and having a walk down to the fantastic beaches and cafes of Guethary. We had a room on the second floor and it was very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was also big and very clean- but I prefer a separate shower. The breakfast was lovely quality and very relaxed, we liked the long tables to share with……

“Hôtel très bien situé et c’est son point fort. Un peu vieillot mais ça fait son charme. Par contre la personne à l’accueil n’y est quasiment jamais. Il délégue tout à sa femme de ménage même l’encaissement d’une facture de séjour…!! Nous aurions pu quitter notre chambre sans payer… Difficile à accepter vu le prix et le peu de chambres finalement. Voilà comment ce qui pourrait être une pépite se transforme en gâchis par le manque de professionnalisme d’une personne censée y travailler. Même en……

“The property and rooms were absolutely beautiful. Only problem we had was carrying our luggage up a couple of long flights of stairs. (no elevator in this older building) I noticed that help was offered to several other people checking in, and was curious about that.”

“Lovely hotel right in the middle of the old town close to the beaches, shops and restaurants. We had a superior double room which was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. Whilst we didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel due the abundance of super cafe’s all within a few minutes walk of the hotel it was available and looked good. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great service, great location and a great place to relax in Biarritz”
