“Good location, shopping area just adjacent to hotel. Easy check in. Staff manner and responses were good. Room was spacious and clean, but bed a bit hard and pillows too soft. Need to improve sound proofing between rooms (the neighbouring room was too noisy at midnight, but glad that the hotel staff quickly managed the situation then)”

“The Merica Hotel Chengdu Changxi Road is an excellent value for the cost. Rooms with windows are very small. Rooms without windows are much larger, but do not offer any extra storage or seating vs rooms with windows. Easy walk to shopping, food, and several museums and park. ”

“Convenient to major shopping area, easy reach to subway. Staff was helpful. Room was clean and spacious, but noisy during daytime from stores at neighbouring streets but was quiet after 10 pm. Need to improve sound proofing from adjacent room too.”
