"We were upgraded ( I think because we got to the hotel early, changed in the baggage room and left to hike the Panorama Trail and Royal Walk) to the “Penthouse” on the 4th floor which had a sitting area, large eating table, separate bedroom and full bath. Everything was provided in terms of the usual toiletries and towels. Only negative was the rug was dirty. Big plus-the hotel had a washer and dryer in the basement for guests to use-I took advantage of it. Staff was great."

"Our stay @ The Falken was amazing. We were welcomed with open arm from the minute we arrived. The property is perfectly situated just right outside of town with a quick 5 minute walk to all of the shops, restaurants and trains. Our room was so cute and had such magical views. "A really wonderful hotel in the magical town of Murren. Our rooms were very nice with comfortable beds- except for the cot that my adult son had to sleep on as #3 in the room- that was thin and somewhat uncomfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly, even remembering my weird coffee preferences Breakfast was excellent, with lots of options. The town itself is amazing- perched on the edge of a mountain with essentially no cars and cable cars or trains to get you where you're going. We wish we'd booked more time here."
