“The hotel is a diamond in the rough. Sicily is not geared for tourists but Hotel Conchiglia D'oro is fantastic. James, Rosy, Roberto, Stefania and Antonio could not have been more helpful and accommodating. It is an easy 15 minute walk to Mondello beach which is easily one of the best beaches in Europe. Our room with the balcony is lovely and a great bathroom / shower for Med Europe. Breakfast is solid too. Great place to stay near a great beach.”

“Our flight arrived at 23.30, so we booked the hotel due to the close distance from the airport, and as the hotel offered transportation from the airport to the hotel, even though it was after midnight by the time we had collected luggage etc. the hotel was well equipped, clean, comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Also the breakfast was exactly what was needed to start the day, recommended ”

“We truly had a fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautifully maintained property and the unique castle-style design, which gives the entire place a fairytale charm. The rooms and common areas were spotless, reflecting the high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel. “We booked 2 double bed room and they gave us one room that squeezed in a double bed and a bunk bed that left us no space to walk or open the luggage. The other room is bigger but hey I only booked a double bed room, not a double bed, a bunk bed, and one folding single bed. Anyways, the reception told me they gave the other double bed rooms to other people and have no correct rooms for us. We had to all squeezed into the bigger room for 2 nights. The reception is rude and not even understand……

“We really enjoyed Sant'Agostino B&B! The accomodations were great and the garden is fabulous. Breakfast had a variety of foods to choose from and we appreciated the coffees that could be had any time of day. Fanny was just wonderful and helpful! We'd stay there again and will recommend it to friends.”

“Staff was incredibly helpful and the room was spacious ”

“The hotel location is brilliant, bus stops right outside to go to Mondello and Palermo. Pool is amazing! Rooms big clean and tidy ( as Italian rooms go fairly modern) Good shower pressure. Beds are hard and pillows are hard - but I don’t mind that Our only issue was the restaurant / nightclub on the Saturday night didn’t stop until 2:30am. A warning or notice would have been nice. It’s only a slight gripe that we had on our stay. ”

“Very nice place to stay, close to notarbartolo station. Easy acsess to move around in the city. The only thing I missed would be having a fridge in the room, but it worked without one as well. The room gave good value for money. ”
