「We only stayed for one night, so we did not get a chance to experience all of the amenities. Unfortunately, we ran into several issues during our stay. On Saturday evening around 6:00 PM, we went to the restaurant and were given menus. After a few minutes, we were ready to order, but when the waitress returned, she apologized and told us they were out of everything on the menu. 「The breakfast was very poor. Fake eggs, sausages the size of a quarter. Coffee was weak, and very small flimsy coffee cups. No elevator. The room was very clean as was bedding. The refrigerator was set way too high and froze my food and drinks that were stored. No rear access to the gazebo’s on the River. Price was cheap, so I guess that’s what you get. The staff was pleasant」

「Room was clean and had was I needed. Nothing fancy but great room for the price. Easy to see from the lake and well marked on US 23. Boat ramp was located fairly close by and the grounds were well maintained even before peak season. Stephen was helpful in pointing out the area and gave me some Long Lake fishing tips.」

「I gave it a four because it was exactly what I needed, however it probably is more like a 3.5. The cabin was clean and accommodations were as listed. The inside was outdated though and the bathroom appeared to be pieced together. No issues with plumbing. There was a ceiling fan and an air conditioner which is a plus, made for comfortable sleeping. 「This is a historic place visited by the likes of Henry Ford, filled with fishing memorabilia on the walls, that is a great choice for a group (or family) who wish to test their skills on the Au Sable or other local trout streams Terry and the other staff were wonderful. The suite I stayed in, one of two with their own bath rooms, was commodious. It's well located on the north branch of the Au Sable, and only about 25 minutes from Grayling. 」
