「This is a pretty expensive hotel for the location. The reception was closed and I had to call for help at the pool VHF-radio... Very few people speaks English. I stayed in a suite, which has a nice bed, almost the only good thing about the place. On day 2 afternoon I wanted to take a shower, but as on day 1 no hot water and after a few attempts no water at all, not even cold. No reception. La cabane est juste parfaite, nous avons dormi sans filet il n'y avait pas de moustiques. Le site est unique, n'hésitez pas une seconde, s'est plus qu'une cabanas s'est une expérience. 「We had a great stay at Hotel La Omaja! The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a beautiful view of the lake and the volcanoes. The rooms were lovely with AC, fans and hot water. It was a little difficult to access as the final stretch is all dirt roads and the driveway is very steep. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!」

Not only did they make you feel right at home, but they were extremely accommodating. They drove us in and out of town at any time of day which was perfect.
