「We love this place! We initially booked just one night because we needed a rest stop on our road trip. When we saw the attached wake boarding place we knew we had to let our daughter try it out so we extended our stay. The newly built hotel was clean and had modern minimalist vibes and we liked it. 「Sie bewohnen ein kleines, gut eingerichtetes Häuschen. Es fehlt an nichts. Alles ist mit Liebe und herzig eingerichtet. Das Eigentümer-Ehepaar erfüllt ihnen fast jeden Wunsch. Wir haben Erklärungen über die ganze Umgebung erhalten. Das Frühstück war fantastisch. Wir haben diesen ganz anderen Aufenthalt sehr genossen und fanden es schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht gebucht hatten. 」

「Hunter is a welcoming and friendly manager. The garden is especially nice to look at.」

「The owners were nice. Parts of the property are very run down, but some rooms have been renovated nicely. I had several problems at checkin, all resolved except for non-functional internet. The owners had just had new wifi equipment installed a day or two previously and it was not working. This issue was apparently resolved on the last day of my 4-day stay, but I was able to use a hotspot in the interim, so wasn't greatly inconvenienced.」

「The room was so clean and pleasant. Simple yet elegant for a family. My kids loved staying there. Having the beach so close made it even better! Food was delicious and loved the singer that was there on the Friday night! He played a few kid friendly songs like the wiggles and baby shark so my kids got to have a dance. It was amazing and we will definitely be staying there from now on when we visit Mackay :)」

「I live under the flight path so was not at all bothered by the occasional plane taking off or landing at the airport next door. If aircraft noise really bothers you, perhaps this isn't the best place for you to stay. Everything was neat and tidy and the bungalows well-equipped. Will happily stay here again.」
