“The Alea was a pretty good hotel for a very good price in Seminyak. I did find a few ants in my shower and a couple of beetles in the bathroom too but it’s a tropical place and didn’t feel dirty at all. The double bed was 2 singles, one was fine and comfortable the other was rock hard. Lucky I was solo. The food in the restaurant wasn’t great but I only tried the grilled cheese sandwich. The local place right next door is far better! ”

“Very nice space. Everyone is very polite and helpful. Showers were hot! Water pressure good! Sheets were clean! Felt very safe here! Price is good. Not really much going on where the beach is. You have to walk some time to get to a beach club. ”

“I love this hotel so much. I have stayed here many times and the service is impeccable. The hotel is traditional Balinese style and the staff are so welcoming, friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and accommodate requests. The food is also INCREDIBLE. The traditional Balinese is beyond excellent. I can't recommend this place highly enough. The hotel changed management recently, and I understand it will be going through a 'refreshment'. I hope it doesn't lose what is unique……
