「Positives - great location in Scalloway, room quiet and bed was comfy. Breakfast was included and there was a good choice of cooked and buffet items. Negatives - we booked via Expedia and chose to pay a deposit with the remainder due on arrival and full cancellation available until a week before. We had a confirmation letter from the hotel via Expedia that said that the final balance would be taken on arrival. 「Location is wonderful, a few easy steps to Commercial Street, harbor, etc. The property is old and very much in need of refurbishment. There is evidence that the management is working to that end. Restaurant was closed, which is challenging if staying on the weekend because there are literally only a handful of places to eat on a Sunday and reservations are hard to come by. I stayed 2 nights and there was no housekeeping available unless requested. The front desk is not manned 24/7 but mobile...

「The chalets are set in the most beautiful location overlooking Scalloway. Easy access by car to the whole island. The chalet was very clean with everything we needed and perfect for 2 people.
