“Mado is a gem in the Bole Edna Mall area. The hotel is beautifully designed, with very well appointed modern rooms and lobby. “Rooms are not as advertised. Everything from the bed linens and furniture needed to be replaced. The bed linens were so old they were now a dingy grey color instead of white. All of the furniture had stains, discoloration and were very old. The rug was the same. I turned on the water in the shower and brown water started coming out! Horrible! I had to stay two days, because all of the hotels were booked due to the AU convention. I had to bathe elsewhere due to the water issue. I……

“They said they had free sauna and steam service but after booking they said they only have it free early in the morning. Breakfast wasn’t interesting. Customer service was poor. They don’t pick up their phones when they are called for information. Did some unnecessary questioning and said that we didn’t pay when clearly they were paid. ”

“The room did not have the described amount and type of bed. It was meant to have a queen and a king bed. However, as there was only one bed, they put a single bed in the living room after we complained about the discrepancy. ”
