But while the kitchen appliances were retro looking and cute, they weren’t functional for my family’s needs. I couldn’t get the oven to work, my pizza from the market didn’t fit in the compact fridge, and the microwave had Roman numerals on the dials for settings but I didn’t know that the settings meant. “Soooo we arrived on day 1 to find the cabin hadn't been cleaned after the last occupants. Mildew towels on the carpet, etc. After a series of calls, the cleaning crew came in the evening. Soooo on day 2 we returned from a fun day of activities to find a very nice young family had moved in and were occupying the cabin. Yes, double-booked. After another series of calls and texts, they were relocated. Sooo on day 3 we were told the cabin owner was stopping by to get his boat key while we were out……
