「very nice surprise, a lot of history to the place especially if you are into the anglo boer war, Paul Kruger etc. Met the owner, Robert Forsyth, very nice and friendly person, full of knowledge about South African History. The room we were in was very spacious, it also included a sizeable bathtub. There are 60 something rooms in the lodge but they appear to be spread out as I only saw maybe a dozen which made the place very private. 「We had a wonderful stay at Morokolo. Carel and Caitlyn were exceptional hosts. Carel’s deep knowledge and genuine passion for the wildlife greatly enhanced our game-viewing experience, and he did so in a thoughtful, unobtrusive way. Caitlyn’s organization and responsiveness were outstanding—truly a 10 out of 10. The rest of the staff were equally helpful and welcoming. The lodge was spotless, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals comfortably. 」

「Everything about the room was very good. The food was excellent and there is a good selection of included drinks to wash it down. The photography hide by the water hole gives you a great perspective to get pictures that a bit different from the usual safari shots. The game drives were first class. Our driver was knowledgeable and keen to make sure we saw a great selection of animals including, wild dogs, lions, cheetahs and rhinos. He could improve his jokes though.」
