“We flew in from New York City in mid-August during a heat wave. If you are looking to escape the oppressive heat of summer and spend some time in a beautiful mountain setting with crisp fresh air with stunning views, you will enjoy your stay here. This large guest house is owned by a lovely family who was on site for our entire stay and very attentive to our needs. “We stayed at this property for 10 days and was offered the room in the village and was in walking distance to the beach and salt water pool. The room that we were initially placed in was very spacious with a loungeroom and contained sandstone feature walls and ceilings which were not sealed and bits of sandstone was falling everywhere including on the bed, floor and on the lounge. After informing the property manager (Rola) about this, she was happy to move us to the room next door. This also……

“The chalet was overall great, and everything was in order. Before we left, I noticed a first aid kit and hairdryer in the drawer beside the bed. It would be better if they were placed in a more visible spot. As for cleanliness, the chalet was very clean, but I did notice unclean towels left in the laundry basket upon our arrival. I’m sure this was an oversight, but it’s worth mentioning to the housemaid to ensure extra attention to detail.”
