Lovely and comfortable but you need to be able to climb stairs and there aren't refrigerators in room. Otherwise, fantastic and really nice help at the desk
The hotel is quiet, spotless and well located. The front desk staff were also very helpful. Parking is not available on site but you can park out front with using the EasyPark app or a garage is nearby.
This was described itself as being 'boutique' and I think that may be skewed my expectation slightly. The room that we had I found quite dingy and dated and the bathroom wasn't the cleanest. However, it was comfortable and in a good part of the city close to everywhere that we needed to be.
Clean room in a small hotel in a great location in the Latin Quarter and surrounded by cafés and restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff too. Hotel didn’t cater well for vegans for breakfast ie no vegan pastries, vegan butter just bread, jam, oats so decided not to pay for it. Not a problem with cafes nearby. I was on 3rd floor as I wanted a quiet room but no lift so be careful what you wish for! Recommend.
I had a room on the second floor and there was no lift - but in this kind of hotel you don't necessarily expect one, and the stairs were not a problem at all, being shallow and wide. The room was cleaned and made up each day, beautifully. The breakfast was served indoors or in the pleasant garden, which in the lovely weather was a bonus. The hotel is in an excellent position, handy for bus routes but on the edge of the pedestrianised centre of Aarhus, so that I was able to walk to and from the airport bus and visit the main sights on foot or take a bus if I was tired. I was also able to walk to and from the University, but again there was a bus too. The bed was very comfortable and the room was cool without needing air-conditioning. There were bars and restaurants all around and lots of vintage shops - browsing was excellent. I would certainly stay there again because it was very good value for money and felt like a home-from-home.
Quiet and cozy place, with garden, and well appointed rooms. The shared bathrooms were perfectly clean, loaded with towels, boutique amenities and were always available. The staff was helpful.
I enjoyed the stay in SOFS Boutique Hotel very much. Sofia and the team give perfect recommendations for everything, incl. the best Pizza ever nearby. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable …
I did not realise the hotel did not have a 24/7 reception until the day of travel when I was sent a code for check-in. Once I got to the hotel the code was needed to enter the lobby, except the code I'd been sent did not work. So I was stuck outside for about 15 minutes at 1am, while I tried to get someone to answer the phone (and when I finally did the man was very grumpy). Probably would not pick this hotel again if I knew I'd be arriving late. Other than that the room was a nice size and clean, although a bit cold (even with the heaters on).

There is no elevator but that is not mentioned in any information. There is no one to help to bring luggage to the room; for two ninety year olds traveling for five weeks, I had to ask someone on the street to help me carry our two small suitcases up a curling staircase.
The “breakfast” was negligible, the poorest of any hotel at which we stayed in those five weeks.
The room was adequate and the staff was pleasant and helpful with suggestions and directions.
Parking is ten minutes away although limited street parking is available for loading/unloading luggage.
Beautiful building with a lovely breakfast cafe, central location, and comfy, spacious rooms with tv and some hanging space for clothes. The staff are all friendly and helpful. They'll hold your luggage for you if you need to check out before you are leaving the city, and there is a grocery store literally 2 minute walk from them, as well as one of the best coffee places I have ever been, Stillers. There is no elevator, so no accessibility if you cannot climb stairs, as the lowest set of rooms is still one flight of stairs up. Best hotel we stayed at while in Denmark.
Nice hotel in the best part of Aarhus. Simple, clean and with a very small but nice organic breakfast (that has a few vegan options) The staff is very young and inexperienced. But they try to help. All in all a good stay.
Very cute hotel in the middle of the old town. Beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, but the noise from the street kept waking us up - garbage trucks, street cleaners, & seagulls began at the crack of dawn. Get a room in the back to avoid this detail. Breakfast was very nice and the coffee was delicious. Arhus is a beautiful city, enjoy!

A lot of noise doing the night from the street. Stayed at first floor.
