While waiting for the rooms, we visited the restaurant at the lobby for buffet breakfast for 21GBP but was told that if I booked the night before, it would only cost 18GBP. 「The location was good as close to Paddington station . The rooms were clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We stayed in the lower floor room and we need to carry our luggage through the narrow stairs. Also if we want to have air conditioning, need to pay extra 10 pounds . The layout of the room was very crowded with 5 beds and no desk and chair to work. The water outflow of the shower very slow, so water got accumulated. Also we could hear the noise of the underground and train.」

Minor point, although there was a good selection of plug points in the room, they were all located in one area of the room, where there was no fixed mirror. 「A brilliant stay at The Holmes Hotel. The location is ideal, just a short walk from Oxford Street and Marylebone High Street, with excellent transport links. The staffs were super friendly and helpful, always on hand with a smile. The rooms are clean, modern, and very comfortable. The breakfast was a real highlight - delicious and varied. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to London.」

「The location is exceptional, situated in close proximity to Paddington station. However, I was unaware that every underground pass causes the entire room to vibrate. It is possible that this is due to my room being situated on the ground floor. Additionally, my room is conveniently located near a coffee machine. Even when guests check in at 1:00 AM, the reception staff remains remarkably friendly and provides directions to the coffee machine. Furthermore, I am able to hear all conversations...
