“I walked into reception just after check in time, was informed I had already checked in I said no I’m here to check in. The elderly lady said i think I’ve given your room to someone else. “As a woman traveling alone, I felt intimidated and unsafe. At 3pm when I tried to check in, reception was unmanned and no-one answered the phone. A stranger, a man working on his car in the driveway, attempted to approach me when I was calling the manager. He had no reason to approach me.
