Not a happy experience. I paid $80.00 for the room which was a great price through Expedia. Once I got there I asked for a room on the lower level to help with unloading equipment, and the day clerk asked me to return at 3:00, because check-in was at 3:00, unless I wanted to pay an extra $50.00. It was 1:30, so I decided to return after 3:00. The clerk said there should be 3 downstairs rooms available when I returned and that she’d make sure to have a room for me. At no time did she tell me a downstairs room would cost an “additional” $160. When I arrived at 3:30 another clerk was there and she knew nothing about having a room for me downstairs, and she wasn’t sure there were any rooms in the lower level available but she would check with housekeeping. Yes, one was available but I would be charged an additional $160. The rooms available for $80.00 were only upstairs, which they had already reserved for me. So, I took the upstairs room and lugged all my equipment up and down because there’s no elevator. The TV didn’t work properly and management was unable to fix it. The sink backed up. The beds had noisy plastic protective sheets. The outfacing window curtains didn’t close all the way. And the shower head was literally on n the side of the tub and not attached so we could not take showers before leaving. The stay was dreadful and I won’t stay again.
