「If you like to be surrounded by wood, this is your place. We felt like we were in a mountain cabin, yet we were in the middle of the city. Everything worked great especially the air conditioner!! Decor was really interesting and was fun to investigate. We like to cook and it had everything we needed for a nice meal. Location was perfect near the college and the downtown area. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Abilene.」

「We were in town to visit our daughter in college and extended family. The property was just what we needed. We had one minor issue that the owner addressed right away. My only recommendation would be to have a broom and dust pan available. Our youngest isn’t the neatest eater and a broom would have been helpful to clean up after her. 😀」

「The location is perfect and easy to access everything. The neighborhood is very charming and more lush with the tree line streets. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and we had a wonderful time. The host was very responsive and recommended some fantastic restaurants in the area. 「Cute place, loved the decor! Only qualms were that the sheets were not comfortable and got hot. Would prefer cotton sheets. Waterproof mattress pad on back bedroom bed was uncomfortable. And train woke us up all night, since we aren't used to it. Other than that, it was a sweet place. We did go home and not stay the second night, so we could get better sleep.」

There was a great kitchen to work in as we were there for the birth of a granddaughter. The location was convenient to the hospital and restaurants. We will be back and stay at Mimi’s House again.」
