「Das Haus ist nicht mehr neu, aber groß und toll eingerichtet. Die Aussicht ist spektakulär. Links neben dem Grundstück wird gerade ein neues Haus gebaut, tagsüber sind die damit einhergehenden Baugeräusche hörbar. An dieser Stelle der Insel ist es weniger sonnig und weniger warm wie woanders auf der Insel, ein Grund dafür ist die Höhe des Hauses am Berg…immerhin 450 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel. Deshalb ist auch ein ständiger kühler Wind auf der Terrasse. Alles in allem ist uns das Haus eine...

「We had a fantastic stay with Maria. The rustic property was in a cute, quiet, and private location with an amazing view of the ocean. Easy parking was available below the church, which was a 5-minute walk away from the property. The garden and view were highlights of the property that we will always remember. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place to anyone wanting to visit Madeira.」

「I have mixed feelings about our stay at Joao's place. We were a bit disappointed to find the state of the place; we emailed the landlord but he did not respond until Vrbo contacted him. Positive: - location: the view over the ocean is spectacular! - silence: it is a quiet area, only residential. aside from a couple of dogs once in a while, there is no outside noise - sleep quality: the (hard) mattresses worked a charm and we slept really well - good fun with the table tennis in the common...

「Miguel hat uns sehr nett persönlich empfangen. Das Haus ist sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Sehr gepflegt, alles vorhanden, was man so braucht. Der Meerblick ist fantastisch und die Lage ist sehr gut um Ausflüge zu machen oder zu wandern. In wenigen Minuten ist man in Calheta am Meer, hier gibts alles Strand, Restaurants und einen guten Supermarkt. Leider gab es in unmittelbarer Nähe eine größere Baustelle, die man nicht sieht, aber hört. Trotzdem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.」

「We stayed for 5 night, the property is in a lovely quiet area with street parking available, I would definitely recommend renting a car. The owner and his son were quick with communication and very helpful. The property is a lovely older building with plenty of character, clean and everything was in working order. There is wifi in the common area which works well and the view from the rooms is fantastic. 」

「Wir haben 11 Tage in Madalenas Haus verbracht und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung war gross (wir waren nur zu zweit), sehr sauber und bequem. Das Beste daran - der wirklich große Balkon mit Meerblick. Wir haben unser Frühstück draußen immer sehr genossen. Sehr gefreut haben wir uns auch, dass jeden Tag morgens ein Auto mit frischen Brötchen vorbei kommt! Madalena ist super nett, extrem hilfsbeteit und tut alles, damit sich ihre Gäste wohl fühlen. Wir haben uns mit ihr oft unterhalten...
