「It was really great! Irina is very kind. She knows a lot about Madeira en what to do. Enola (her German shepherd) is also a lovely girl. We had an amazing stay. The house was clean and cozy. 「Will be a good place when it will be finished. We were living in a construction site where noise was starting at 8am (or earlier) to finish at 8pm. The apartment was nice but not fully functional since AC was not connected. The apartment we had was made for 2 people as the sofa cannot be seriously considered as an extra bed (even for kids). 「Das Apartment ist sehr gut gelegen und super um die wunderschöne Nordseite zu erkunden. Das Apartment hat zwar schon einige Jahre erlebt ist aber super sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlt einem an nichts um lecker kochen oder sogar waschen zu können. Maria die Besitzerin hatte uns auch leckeres traditionelles Gebäck gebracht und Kartoffeln aus dem eigenen Garten bereit gelegt. Sehr freundlich! Das Apartment können wir wärmstens empfehlen.」

「We opted for bed and breakfast at the hotel, we did a lot of hiking whilst on Madeira and, the Saccharum resort breakfast never failed to set us up for whatever we were getting up to. First class service! Great local restaurants in the area but I have to call out the hotel restaurants as being second to none. We ate in the restaurant overlooking the infinity pool on two occasions- fantastic choice, efficiency and the staff were wonderful.」

「The location next to the ocean is a bonus. Listening to the waves in the morning and evening brings great serenity. The staff is also very friendly. There was one woman in particular that made it even more enjoyable. I wished I had asked for her name. She helped me picked out some guided tours for the time I was there. She even wished me a happy birthday before I left. It’s those little thoughtful moments that makes it memorable. When I return, I will definitely go back there. 」
