Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed with our stay here. The lobby and surrounding areas looked nice but the rooms were seriously neglected. There was mold all along the shower and tub. Walls were scuffed up and dirty and so was the carpet. The overall cleanliness was below average. The attention to detail was definitely lacking here especially for the price we paid to stay here as well as the hefty tourist fee we were charged.

Quirky decor but great pool area!

Unusal, quirky decor but a great hotel! Staff friendly and helpful, very clean, beds incredibly comfortable and a brilliant pool area. Breakfast quite basic (extra charge for fried eggs or omelette) and restaurant pricey as often is the case in hotels. Not central to Catania but lovely to be away from the craziness so you can relax. Good bus options to the town, or further up the coast.

Hotellet är toppen men ligger lite långt feån staden. Begränsat med möjligheter att äta i närheten. Maten på hotellet jättebra men dyr. Frukosten inte femstjärnig men absolut inte dålig. The hotel itself facilities wise is good, great pool and private access to the beach. However the rooms are terrible! We paid extra for a deluxe room but it was incredibly old and dirty. We arrived to find an empty can of drunk Pepsi in the bathroom and vape wrappers by the safe. The room wasn’t cleaned deeply. We did get an apology from both the cleaners and reception but feel this shouldn’t have been missed had the room been cleaned properly in the first place. The ceiling is also rotting away in the room, see photos attached. I also would strongly NOT recommend the breakfast, it’s incredibly average and not worth paying for. The waiters rush you out of breakfast rudely if you’re still eating past 10am. Overall better to save your money and not get. Overall this hotel is a 3 star hotel, definitely not a 4 star hotel as advertised. Plus the hotel is incredibly far from Catania and anything decent to visit and you will have to keep on getting expensive Ubers to the city centre. There are better hotels towards Catania central which you must consider for the price as this place isn’t cheap either!

Accomodation was serviceable for my needs. Room was clean with good mattress. Pool was closed during my stay. Fromt desk staff friendly and helpful. Accomation is bear enough to airport to make it a viable inexpedive option. Hotel food was good but not great. Parking at hotel was on the expensive side for whst should be free when staying at a hotel.

The hotel is a little dated but this did not take away from what a lovely stay we had. Staff were so friendly and catered to all our needs. Very helpful. We asked to see the "Horta" garden's. Which is well worth a look. This is where some of the produce for the restaurant is grown. Cute little shops on site and the pool / seaside was very relaxing. A good 30min walk to Aci castello centre and a bus ride from the centre of Catania. A good little find

Hotel was just a bit too far from centre. Requires expensive taxi rides. Not much choice of eateries near hotel. No hotel shuttle service. Replenishing of room amenities not consistent, always missing items however housekeeping is very friendly and will respond with providing when asked. Facilities in hotel limited. SPA not always avaliable, pool opens late in morning. Room layout not good. Not enough electrical power points. But has nice balcony and every room has view of sea. Staff at front desk do try to be helpful but are limited in what they can help.
