“First impressions were not good. We arranged for late checkin, a key was to be left in a coded key box. On arrival just after midnight, very tired, there was no key in the keybox, and no-one to answer the phone. No-one answered the door. Luckily we found a member of staff purely by chance, when we saw a downstairs light on at the back of the property. Rooms at first appear dated, but they are individual in style and actually more appealing than a modern and boring standard Travelodge.……
