“We highly recommend the stay at Acro & Polis in Athens. It is very close to the historical spots. It takes only about 10 minutes for us to visit the Acropolis. The hotel is warm, clean and tidy. We especially love the balcony of the hotel - the Acropolis is just next to us! The host is very friendly. Whenever we had any problems or requests, he tried his best to help. He is such a sweet host that he has prepared some wine and chocolate to celebrate our honeymoon! :)”

“This boutique hotel with only six (6) suite rooms was one of the nicest hotel experiences I’ve had. The 1901 structure’s lobby and suites were beautifully and tastefully decorated The staff of three women (Manager, Cook, Housekeeper) were all extremely hospitable and efficient. Our room was cleaned daily. Our breakfast (a free surprise & automatically included) was delicious and healthy (coffee, toast, butter, jams, honey and choice of eggs or Greek yogurt and fresh fruit) and served on fine……

“Very helpful and nice staff. It was surprise that two little bottles of moscato were complimentary. It was nice to have a pantry inside the room. We had 3 persons. There were a double bed and a sofa bed. It would be better if the hotel could arrange an extra bed, instead of a sofa bed. By the way, the hotel is at a very good location.”

“We had a wonderful stay. It’s right in the middle of Plaka, great shopping, the acropolis, restaurants. Since it’s in the heart of nightlife, it’s a bit loud if you leave the windows open. Super responsive service. They helped us get extra blankets and car service to the airport. The rooms are modern, kitchen is well stocked. Very reasonably priced.”

“Utterly perfect location for exploring ancient Athens (Plaka) walkable to anything, with the bonus of seeing the Parthenon each time you leave your room. Not really luxurious but compact apartment with everything you need, including kitchenette. Would definitely stay here again.”

“This was a wonderful apartment. Clean with many amenities. The balcony overlooking the street was our favourite place to have breakfast or a drink before/after dinner. The location was fantastic! The only negative was that returning after dark there was no lighting in the main entrance, stairwell or hallway of the building. The owner of this apartment did have a motion sensor light that came on as we approached the door. This was the first place we stayed during our 2 week trip to Greece and it……

“Marwan in the evenings was sweet and helpful. And the breakfast situation was amazing - way way better than anything you get in the states. The room was fine for us but if you don’t like city noise you might have an issue. We enjoyed the stay and the location in plaka was perfect for us - so much walkable. They set up our early ride to the airport too. A smooth stay. Again the breakfast across the street was amazing!”
