"We really enjoyed our stay at Bahamas Island House. It was everything we were hoping for. The house is amazing and extremely well equipped. The ability to utilize the kayaks from the house and visit some incredible areas is perfect. There was a storm during our visit that took out power and cell service for the entire island. The house has a generator that kicked in within seconds allowing us to continue playing games with our kids and keep us comfortable through the night. It also has starlink. Jack anticipated needs before we even realized there was a need for it. He was extremely responsive and provided so much information ahead of time about the island. He gave great recommendations for excursions and for fresh lobster. We used Theo for our excursion and had an amazing time thanks to Jack’s recommendation. We will back to either this house or another one of his properties because of how well his guests are taken care of. Thank you for helping make our vacation truly magical."

"This is one of those rare properties where the pictures simply can’t capture how great it is in person. The home and setting exceeded our expectations in every way, and our family truly enjoyed every minute of our stay.The host and everyone involved with the property were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. Everything was thoughtfully handled, and we felt very well taken care of throughout our visit.And major bonus points for the diesel generator and Starlink! We experienced a significant island-wide power and cell outage during our stay, and both worked flawlessly. The generator automatically kept the house running, and Starlink kept us connected when cell service went down. Those are amenities you might overlook when booking, but we were incredibly thankful to have them.We had a fantastic family vacation and would absolutely stay here again. If you’re considering booking this property, don’t hesitate. It’s even better than it looks in the photos."

"Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tranquility Cottage. This wasn’t our first visit to Tropic of Cancer Beach, and once again we were reminded why we keep coming back. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, comfortable, and completely at home.The cottage was spotless, incredibly well maintained, and had plenty of room for our family of five. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to relax after long days in the sun. One of our favorite parts of each day was the short, easy walk to beautiful Tropic of Cancer Beach—one of our favorite beaches anywhere. Having beach chairs and two kayaks available at the cottage was a fantastic bonus and made it even easier to enjoy everything the area has to offer.The owner and property manager were outstanding. Every question we had was answered immediately, and they were genuinely helpful throughout our stay. That level of responsiveness gave us complete peace of mind.We also loved spending time at Brea’s Delights, which has become one of our favorite beach bars. Between relaxing on the beach, kayaking, enjoying great food, and simply slowing down together as a family, this trip was exactly what we hoped it would be.If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, well-equipped home in one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in Exuma, we highly recommend Tranquility Cottage. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to returning."

"Our family of 10 enjoyed 10 days in July at inspiration point! We especially enjoyed the direct beach access and pool! The beach is one of the best on the island and it was essentially private. Due to the location being so far from town and restaurants, we cooked more meals than usual on this vacation. We would have liked the kitchen to be a little better equipped for cooking. The 35 minute drive to town over some pretty rough roads is the only negative. If you want privacy this is the place! Kim the property manager is great and went above and beyond to make out stay as perfect as possible! She cooked a meal for us that was wonderful and well worth it! Overall the home was great with plenty of space. The two downstairs rooms were very large which was great for families with small children sleeping in their parents rooms."

"This property met and exceeded our expectations. The central location made it easy to explore both north and south. An easy drive to either airport. Groceries, liquor and gas right around the corner. We spent every evening relaxing at the water’s edge watching the wildlife, distant lightning and stargazing. Lots of turtles, a leopard ray, dolphins and tons of fish right in front of the cottage! Debbie and Phil are fantastic hosts! We can’t wait to come back later this year!"

"This was the best trip! Be sure to take advantage of Judy, the concierge—she was incredibly helpful and made everything so easy. While it is a remote destination, that’s part of what makes it so special.We also did the 8-hour tour with Exuma Water Sports and visited some of the coolest spots in the Exumas. It was an unforgettable experience and absolutely worth it.I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a unique and amazing getaway!"
