A strange guy came in my room and was trying to climb on my bed while I was sleeping!!! I yelled at him who are you , how did you access my room!!? He said oh sorry I got into wrong room. Hello, isn’t that each room card could not access another room?? Then he kept making excuses, asking are you staying here tonight , you are handsome and still refused to leave!!! I yelled at him None of your business , that’s my room !!! And then I opened the door shouted at him “ get out!” I explained such terrible issue to the hotel but they looked like not surprised , telling me “oh “ that was a family room before, sorry. Meaning it happened before but they didn’t replace all locks with problems! Safety would be a big concern!

Bentark Hotel provided an excellent experience. From check-in to check-out, the staff was hospitable and courteous. Furthermore, a staff member by the name of Teddy offered to guide me around the local area. He had great recommendations and cultural expertise when it came to what I wanted to experience. My first time in Africa - I’m glad I chose Bentark Hotel for my stay in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful! The airport shuttle was seamless, the breakfast was delicious, and the rooms are renovated and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. This hotel is excellent value and it was a delight to stay!

Bentark Hotel is a wonderful place to stay! Extremely comfortable rooms, delicious food from the restaurant and incredibly helpful staff! Only downside - it can be incredibly noisy at night from surrounding bars/restaurants on a weekend but it’s quiet during the week. We were on the 4th floor so didn’t get too much noise from the rooftop bar.

The rooms are clean and updated the staff is very helpful and friendly small but very nice gym the breakfast which is in included in the stay is very very good with both traditional as well as other options the room I stayed in didn’t have a balcony but the windows were large enough to all adequate light to fill the room.

The property itself was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. However, the experience was somewhat affected by two issues. First, the driver who picked us up from the airport spent much of the ride discussing his personal problems, which felt inappropriate and seemed intended to solicit a tip. Second, we were disappointed that we couldn’t extend our stay due to a significant last-minute price increase. It would have been appreciated if the rate could have been honored or adjusted more reasonably for guests already staying at the hotel.
