Cute shack stay
As described and cute little shack. The decor was on point. Best thing about the stay was the attention to detail for our fur babies. Have stayed at other places that have stated a secure yard….but haven’t been. This one definitely was. Much appreciated Retro shack.

Delightful
We had fun travelling back in time and discovering all the memorabilia decor. It's a classic shack but with all the modcons and very comfortable. The owners obviously care for it and even bed linen was top notch. It's seconds from the beach and has a lovely, big garden. Perfect for our little dog too. 100% recommend

perfect location & comfortable house
What a location, metres from the beach, quiet street & neighbours and lovely grassed big backyard. The house was so comfortable, beds, recliners, ace huge TV, and the lovely kitchen. Galaga (arcade game) tournaments and outdoor eating area, what's more to ask for. Thank you for sharing your house and beautiful retro interior.

A trip back in time!
We had a really great time at the Retro Shack with our daughter and her family.
The beach just minutes away and a good sized yard for the littlies and the dog! A good variety of eating venues nearby.
The accommodation has everything you would need including books, puzzles, games and an arcade machine. If you’re interested in retro memorabilia there is plenty to enjoy.
Very homey so we have booked to stay for a week next time.

Great retro!
the property was as described; very clean; and well located just one house from the Esplanade. We particularly liked the very lovely large backyard, which our dog also appreciated, and all the entertainment options including the large screen TVs and Wi-Fi. A beautiful spot for a seaside getaway

This retro shack is a gem
We stayed here for 3 nights and had such a great time. The house is obviously a well-loved family shack and it's comfortable and very clean. It's in a quiet area and only a very short walk to the beach. We were able to bring our little dog which was a great bonus. Communication was great and friendly. Also really liked that all instructions in the house were clear (which makes things easier). Definitely stay again.

Retro shack
Great location, homely house with lots of funky retro items. Loved the arcade machine and my little boy loved the bedroom with lots of toys and books. Cafe's within walking distance and awesome curry house
