"The staff at this hotel are excellent- a big thanks to Daniel and his Manager for sorting out a room issue we had. Really excellent service and would definitely recommend the hotel. Very easy to access central Hamburg with good secure parking."
"Nice little boutique hotel away from the hustle, bustle and smog in convenient location. Hotel ticks all the boxes for us - free car park, free wifi with decent speed, clean, free simple breakfast with good variety, friendly and helpful staff. Only a few minutes easy walk to ferry terminal to go into Hamburg city - a good, cheap and convenient way of seeing the ports and harbour views. Love the little touches the hotel provided like free complimentary large sparkling bottle of mineral water and...
"We were there b/c of the family rooms, which are quite affordable for Hamburg standards. The hotel is situated at a four lane road in Altona. Altona is a nice district, easy to find a good dinner place if you don't mind walking for 20 minutes or so, and we'll connected to the inner city.
Drawback of the room was that the windows don't stop the road noise as well as they should. But we still had a good night."

"Stayed here for two nights and it was good. The staff were very helpful. The hotel is located in close proximity to public transportation and it is in walkable distance to all the nightlife and restaurants."
"The staff was so helpful and friendly and the atmosphere and vibe in the hotel fantastic.
The room was inviting, comfortable and quiet.
I was fortunate to have booked a room with a balcony. The view is interesting and being a smoker I was happy to go downstairs to get coffee and then sit on the balcony having a peaceful start of the day.
I highly recommend staying at the Superbude Altona.

"Make sure to contact the owner before you get there. Turns out they needed passport info before they can give passcode to get into the building, but I was traveling for a few days before with spotty internet, ended up sitting downstairs for almost an hour on the 1st day of my reservation going back and forth with management until they could verify everything and finally let me into the unit. Overall mostly my fault for not doing this in advance, but don’t make the same mistake I did. Make sure that 24 hours before you already have the code you need to get inside.
Great unit as advertised though. Bus was a block away, very convenient. "
"Very clean hotel, lovely room and close to the places we needed to be close to! Receptionist was incredibly friendly and accomdating. Would definitely stay there again."
