「Acropolis View Dream Hostel turned out to be a really pleasant surprise and a great base for exploring Athens. The rooms were simple but clean, the shared kitchen and common areas made it easy to chat with other travelers, and the rooftop terrace with the Acropolis in the distance was the highlight of every evening. The neighbourhood felt busy and a bit rough at first, but after a day I appreciated how convenient it was for cheap food and transport, and I ended up really enjoying the atmosphere...

The female receptionist was very rude to me. She was a very unfriendly and discriminating woman I have ever met in Europe! I spent two nights fees and just asked her for 2 towels, the tiny items which the hostel should offer the guests. But she not only refused me ruthlessly but also treated me like a THIEF! And took away the towel! 」
