Traditional townhouse with a stunning private roof terrace.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this top floor apartment of a traditional town house. It has a perfect Agde location: 2 minutes walk from the river and its many restaurants and bars and 2 minutes walk to the ‘promenade’ with yet more bars, restaurants and shops, and where the local market takes place every Thursday morning. The Canal du Midi is a short stroll away: witness the unique 3 entry lock there. The apartment itself has everything one needs and is clean and smartly presented.The roof terrace has stunning views over the Agde rooftops, the river Herault, and the distant mountains.The owners live in the floors below so communication is easy if there are any problems (there were none).It’s a perfect location for cyclists, runners, walkers and with many beaches a short bus,/cycle ride away, for fans and sea lovers too,Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this holiday property.

We loved our stay at this beautiful place. It was immaculate, comfortable, and very well located, close to the river, restaurants, and the train station. The décor is lovely, and the accommodation has everything you need. We had very pleasant nights thanks to the air conditioning in the bedroom. The property is full of character and feels as though it has come straight out of a fairy tale. It is very well equipped, and the rooftop terrace is a real privilege and a wonderful place to relax. The owners are very friendly and exceptionally welcoming. This is a great place for couples. Part of the charm of the property is its beautifully decorated, narrow staircase. However, if you have difficulty climbing stairs or have mobility issues, it may not be the ideal choice. Otherwise, I would highly recommend it. The historic town of Agde is beautiful. We also visited Béziers by train, and it is a beautiful town as well, although very different from Agde. There is also a nearby bus stop that provides easy access to the beach. If we return to the area in the future, we would definitely stay here again.
