La maison est grande et spacieuse, la chambre magnifique avec un lit très confortable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la quiétude du lieu... Le soir nous avons eu le plaisir de nous joindre à la table d'hôte concoctée maison avec une grande majorité de produits bio... Vraiment je ne peux que conseiller le Grenier Occitan pour une pause serène……

“We stayed in Richard's property for a week-end to celebrate a 60th birthday. We had wanted to visit Carcassonne for a long time - the area, and the accommodation, were perfect, and we enjoyed interesting conversations with Richard, who also recommended an excellent restaurant ten minutes' walk away. The apartment is very quiet: all we could hear from the terrace in the evening was the river and water birds; but at the same time it is a short walk up to the mediaeval citadel in one direction, and……

“Villa was lovely and very well equipped. Outside space was poorer, the area around the pool was rough and unfinished. Garden at back was full of weeds. Contact with the owner was by text which was answered quickly but he was not in the country and we had no contact number for his on site representative as we missed her on arrival due to being delayed. Our first night was spent listening to a bleeping burglar alarm which we couldn’t stop and the owner was unable to help us. Fortunately it stopped……
