Villa Imperia Sea View Villa

A luxury 3 bedroom villa situated on the slopes of the hills of Elounda, offering a stunning view, overlooking the small village of Plaka, the Bay of Elounda and Spinalonga Island with an incomparable blue sea that invites you to surrender to daydreaming, far away from the bustling city life. The elegance of the spacious and stylishly furnished 3 bedroom villa together with the warm and welcoming atmosphere create the feeling of perfect, refined luxury.



It displays an individual style and decoration to guarantee a truly unforgettable stay. The villa is surrounded by a rock and herb garden with local trees, plants and herbs like olive and carob trees, lemon and orange trees, fig trees and pomegranate trees, oregano, thyme, bay and mint.

The split level upper floor, where the entrance is, is an open plan with a spacious living area with open fire place, flat screen TV and comfortable furnishings; dining area and fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, mixer plus all necessary kitchen utensils; the terrace doors lead to the furnished upper veranda with magnificent views over the Bay of Elounda and its turquoise blue sea, with the islet Spinalonga strategically placed in its middle.



Three steps lead to the first master bedroom with balcony, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with toilet.



The ground level is reached by a flight of stairs, where the second master bedroom, the wellness room and a second toilet are. The wellness room and the master bedroom have terrace doors leading to the furnished ground level terrace with private swimming pool and again magnificent views of the surrounding area.

It offers a private swimming pool, terraces, lawn and herb garden, a BBQ and outdoor furnished areas.



The views of the sea, mountains and island of Spinalonga are stunning from the villa.

Words don’t do it justice

Having read all the reviews we were really looking forward to our stay, Villa Imperia didn’t disappoint! The Villa has the most spectacular view in all of Crete, what a way to wake up every morning. A stroll down the (steep) driveway and you’re at Plaka Beach. A lovely flat stone beach with plenty of Sun loungers and a regular cafe service, so you don’t have to move a muscle other than slipping into the beautiful sea. Lunch at the Spinalonga Tavern is essential!! The Villa is a 10 minute drive from Elounda which is a lovely harbour resort with loads of shops and restaurants for nice evenings out. Spinalonga…I say no more, how much history in every view from the Villa, wow. The Villa itself has everything you need, the air con was great (in 35 degree heat) and plenty of space for the 4 of us. The robes and beach towels were very useful The infinity pool was just perfect for a refreshing dip at anytime of the day. The Housekeeper and Pool man came everyday and were so friendly (our big thanks to them).We simply cannot wait to return.

Amazing views

The villa was lovely - location was perfect, just a short walk to Plaka, which has just the right amount of tavernas and shops, and a great beach (excellent for swimming, not for snorkelling). The views from the villa were sensational. The only downside was the poorly stocked kitchen - not nearly enough crockery or glassware for a family of five. But, that aside, I would thoroughly recommend this villa for a family holiday.

Fantastic stay near Plaka

Had a lovely week at this villa. It is clean, cool from air-conditioning and has everything you need for a relaxing week. The outside area and pool were absolutely brilliant, with fantastic views over the village of Plaka and the island of Spinalonga. Plaka itself is absolutely lovely, with plenty of tavernas to keep us fed and with reasonable prices, and some lovely shops to browse in the evenings. Elounda is just a short 10 minute drive away which has a few more places, and if you really want a bit more bizz, then head to Agios Nikolaus which is 20 minutes away. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing time with a pool and a fantastic view.

Grand luxe et situation parfaite

Magnifique propriété d’une propreté exemplaire! Nous étions 2 couples et la disposition des chambres et salles de bain permet une grande intimité tout en partageant les espaces communs. Piscine et vue fabuleuses et accès facile (à pied) au petit village de Plaka. Nous recommandons tout à fait!

Beautiful Villa in Crete

From the moment we arrived at the villa we had someone to greet us and walk us through everything the villa offered. It was perfect for our family of 4. The villa was spotless and enough room for all of us. They even stocked our refrigerator with some necessities like bread, jelly, milk, cheese and fruit. The very BEST part was the private pool….it was beautiful! The patio was so spacious with several lounging chairs to sun and the patio off the kitchen was perfect to have your morning coffee on with seating for 6. The views were spectacular. The town was close to walk to and grab lunch or dinner. The restaurants were wonderful with many to choose from and cute shops as well. The ferry was convenient to catch for a trip to Spinalonga Island. I would highly recommend staying here.

Traumhafter Kurzurlaub mit Familie

Modernes Haus mit atemberaubendem Ausblick auf die Bucht von Elounda. Die Ausstattung im Innenbereich ist sehr gut. Der Aussenbereich mit tollem Pool, Sonnenliegen und großer Terrasse gerade für uns als fünfköpfige Familie perfekt. Das Fischerdorf Plaka mit kleinem Strand, schönen Restaurants und Supermarkt ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Host super zuverlässig und freundlich.

Séjour très agréable dans une villa idéalement située

Villa très agréable à 5 minutes à pieds du village Plaka avec une vue magnifique sur l'ile de Spinalonga. La décoration est un peu simple et manque peut-être un peu de modernisme. Dommage que la vaisselle soit en trop petit nombre et il manque quelques ustensiles de cuisine pour un séjour à six. Ceci dit, le séjour est recommandé et permet de découvrir une région superbe et pas encore trop touristique. L'hôte est très agréable et très disponible. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Amazing views and wonderful villa in Plaka

We had a marvelous stay in Crete for a week. The villas are exactly as the pictures show. And super comfortable. The bathrooms are big and airy and well maintained. It was great to be able to wash our clothes too as it allowed us to take less luggage. The beds are comfortable and the linens always clean. The A/C works well too. There are two mini markets in town with everything you need, plaka is a sleepy wonderful town with a beach with crystal clear water but very rocky. But there are plenty of chairs for rent and several walkways to the water. Elounda is a few minutes by car and is more active and a bit further is Agios Nikolaos, which is bigger. We rented a car and drove everywhere. Highly recommend it.

Great experience

The villa Elounda Maris Mirabello is very well located in Plaka close to the beach and the tavernas of Plakas. As it is located on the hill the view over the Plaka bay and Spinalonga island is dtunning. The villa was clean, practical and with a nice infinite pool. Service was flawless. We had an excellent welcome at the villa upon arrival with clear explanations. The person representing the owner (Iokasti) was very responsive when we had questions or needs. A very nice stay. Plaka, the Mirabello bay and Spinalonga is definitely a must to stay in the East of Creta.

Beautiful villa with a fabulous view!!

We had a magical holiday in Plaka. Great wee village with lots of restaurants. The views and sunrise from the villa were out of this world! The villa itself was great, clean and well looked after by the lovely cleaning lady.

Fantastic location

A really nice villa in a fantastic location. The views from the sun terrace and the infinity pool across to Spinalonga and down Elounda Bay are stunning. The village of Plaka is a short walk away although it is a bit of a steep hill on the way back. I have visited this area of Crete several times and I will not hesitate to rebook this property to enjoy the beautiful scenery once more.
