Anemolia holiday

10 out of 10!! Stella is a fantastic host, she really cares about her guests and wanted to make sure we had a fantastic holiday - which we absolutely did. The villa is in a fantastic location, it feels remote (which was what we were after) but it is only a few minutes drive to some lovely local beaches and amenities. We will be recommending staying at this villa to family and friends.

Dream holidays😍

Stella and Manolis are two wonderful hosts. Super friendly, helpful and always there if you have a question. The house is super nice and big. The areas with the rooms and their respective bathrooms are great. The furnishings are made with love and everything is very well maintained. There are very good restaurants about 10 minutes away. Beautiful villa

Having waited three years to finally stay having had to cancel our original 2020 booking, Villa Anemolia was worth the wait. As previous reviewers have said, Stella and Manolis are wonderful hosts, welcoming us personally, helping with luggage and with lots of lovely local food to help us settle in. The villa itself is immaculate, with a bathroom for each bedroom, well equipped kitchen and meticulously clean. Location is great, very quiet and private but very close to lots of local beaches and less than 10 mins drive from Plakias and lots of restaurants. Weather was rather windy and difficult to know if villa location increases exposure to that, but it certainly didn’t stop us having a wonderful time. We were visited day 2 by a cat that a previous guest had fed so we did the same twice daily from that point, no hassle at all and my boys loved it. Nice if others could do the same. I am sure we will be back.

Fantastic stay

It’s not often that a holiday exceeds your expectations, but this Villa has to be seen to be believed. The wonderful hosts Stella and Manos can’t do enough to make you feel welcome. The Villa is modern, with every need catered for and is absolutely immaculate. The location in the valley is spectacular, with amazing views of the surrounding mountains and local town Plakias in the distance. If you’re looking for the ultimate escape from it all, then this Villa has it all.

Villa Anemolia - Fantastic place to stay!

My husband and I chose this villa because we wanted peace and tranquility, and that’s just what we got. The villa is set in its own olive grove, away from any other buildings, but is only a few minute’s drive from the local village for tavernas and a supermarket. The hosts Stella and Manolis couldn’t have been more welcoming, from the detailed directions from airport to villa, to Stella’s amazing homemade moussaka and cake for our first dinner, and the ample welcoming pack of wine, bread, cheese, ham, biscuits, water etc to set us up for the first few days. They did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and we feel like we’ve made some new friends. The villa was immaculately clean and very spacious. It is a modern new build, well laid out with three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, including a downstairs bedroom with a wet room for anyone with a disability. The open plan kitchen, dining and living room were spacious and very well equipped. The kitchen especially had all main appliances including kettle, toaster, coffee machine, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and enough cutlery and crockery for a family. The tv in the living room even had its own Netflix. There is also good WiFi and air conditioning throughout. The outside space was amazing, with panoramic views of the mountains surrounding the villa! The pool was an excellent size and cleaned every day, with an expansive space surrounding it. There is a dining area under a canopy, to enjoy the view from as well. It was a little windy the week we went but we still managed to have breakfast outside, although it was too breezy to play cards! There is an outside bbq space with a gas bbq. On the first floor there is a lovely balcony with views across to the sea at Plakias and the mountains all around. The view was absolutely stunning and you can see glorious sunsets from here - we loved it! Both upstairs bedrooms also have their own balconies. For anyone staying at this villa (and you absolutely should!) we would recommend Souda Beach (15 mins by car) as it was calm, quiet, not as busy but with a taverna at one end and Plakias (10 mins by car) for lots of tavernas, shops, bakeries etc. Try KpiKpi, Gio-ma and Alatsi for great food. We would recommend Mariou taverna which is ten minutes away by car from the villa with an amazing view, great food and service! Prevelli monastery was also beautiful and worth a visit. We’ll be back soon - can’t wait!

Sejour tres agreable en famille

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la villa Anemolia. L'endroit est parfait pour des vacances en familles. La Villa est spacieuse et très agréable. Vue magnifique sur la mer et les montagnes. La région est moins fréquentée par les touristes et nous avons pu facilement nous rendre sur les plages autours de la Villa. Stella et son mari sont très accueillants. Ils nous ont recommandé des bons restaurants dans la région et on vraiment pris soin de nous. Nous recommandons cette Villa sans hésitation

Guter Platz zum Entspannen mit 5-Sterne Service / good location to relax with 5-star service

Das moderne, fast neuwertige und gut ausgestattete Haus liegt ruhig und trotzdem zentral in der Nähe von schönen und schnell erreichbaren Stränden und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten - ein Mietauto ist allerdings unbedingt erforderlich. Die Lage innerhalb eines großen Olivengarten garantiert absolute Privatspähre - der Weg vor dem Grundstück wird nur sproradisch befahren und stört nicht. Die drei Schlafzimmer mit en-Suite-Bädern sind großzügig und modern (das Schlafzimmer/Bad im Erdgeschoß ist behindertengerecht ausgestattet). Der Wohnraum mit großen TV (deutsche Sender voreingestellt/Netflix verfügbar) und schönem Esstisch und Sofa ist gemütlich. Die sehr gut ausgestattete Küche hat wirklich alles was benötigt wird. Ganz toll war der (unaufdringliche) Service durch die Inhaber - bei Ankunft wurden wir persönlich begrüßt und informiert, ein Abendessen (Auflaufform mit Moussaka) war vorbereitet. Der Kühlschrank war super gut bestückt, nicht nur wie oft üblich mit einer "Notausrüstung" sondern ausreichend für mehrere Tage ( Bier, Wein, Butter, Honig, Marmelade, Obst, Wasser, Raki, Olivenöl, Tee, Kaffee, Toastbrot, Gewürze). Selbst Spülmittel, Tabs für den Geschirrspüler, Schwamm, Toilettenpapier, Filtertüten etc. war vorhanden. Gute Handtücher und zusätzliche Strandtücher waren genügend vorhanden. Einzig bei stärkeren Wind (den gibt es öfters in der Gegend von Plakias) ist der Aufenthalt auf der Terasse / Balkon eingeschränkt. Etwas mehr Wind-/Sonnenschutz wäre dann wünschenswert. Aber ansonsten alles Top und Empfehlenswert !!

Wir hatten eine ganz wundervolle Zeit in dieser sehr schönen Villa- keiner der anderen Bewerter hatte übertrieben, die gezeigten Bilder sind alle richtig und in Wirklichkeit ist alles noch viel schöner. Stella und Manos sind hervorragende, sehr herzliche Gastgeber. Wie von anderen berichtet, hatten auch wir bei Anreise einen gefüllten Kühlschrank, von Stella köstlich zubereitetes Essen- aber auch die strahlenden und herzlichen Gesichter von Stella und Manos vorgefunden. Wir wollten eigentlich gar nicht mehr unterwegs sein und die Gegend erkunden, denn auf der Terrasse und im herrlich erfrischenden (und täglich gereinigten) Pool war es einfach zu schön! Wir kommen sicher wieder!!!!
