Introducing Kefali Villa
Kefali Villa enjoys an enviable setting moments from the celebrated southern beaches of Rethymno, including Plakias, Damnoni, Schinaria, Triopetra, Preveli and Agia Galini, all within a scenic 15–25 minute drive. Set within a tranquil village of warm hospitality, the villa offers an authentic immersion into rural Crete, where nature unfolds in its purest form. Surrounded by mountain-fed springs, expansive blue skies and pristine air, the villa is a private sanctuary of calm. From the pool, guests may spot birds of prey gliding overhead, while evenings are defined by deep, uninterrupted rest, accompanied only by the soft chorus of crickets. The surrounding countryside invites exploration with hiking trails, mountain biking routes and off-road adventures, framed by ancient carob and oak trees. For a true taste of place, local artisans offer handmade cheeses, fresh milk and regional wines, completing an experience that is both refined and deeply rooted in Cretan tradition.

Set within 800 m² of landscaped grounds, the outdoor spaces of Kefali Villa unfold as a private sanctuary immersed in lush vegetation, mature trees and flowering gardens, with open views across rolling hills and complete seclusion. Designed for unhurried living and a deep connection to nature, the grounds also offer discreet, private corners suitable for guests who appreciate naturist sunbathing. At the heart of the terrace lies a 35 m² private swimming pool (1.5 m depth), complemented by a four-seat spa whirlpool (non heated), inviting moments of pure relaxation. Sun loungers, umbrellas, a dedicated lounge area and two swinging chairs enhance the poolside experience. Under a shaded pergola, guests will find a fully equipped BBQ area with an outdoor fridge, wood-fired pizza oven and a Bluetooth dock, ideal for relaxed al fresco dining. A children’s playground and a ping-pong table complete the setting, ensuring effortless enjoyment for guests of all ages.
Our Path to a Sustainable Future As part of our commitment to sustainability and environmentally conscious living, we are proud to highlight the solar energy system installed in our villa, designed to reduce carbon emissions and enhance energy efficiency. Our villa is equipped with state-of-the-art solar technology, combining high-performance inverters and solar panels for optimal energy generation. This property is equipped with a 5.46kW solar energy system, consisting of one SG8.0RT inverter and 13 Trina Solar 420W panels, underscoring its commitment to green energy solutions.
Internal Living | Beds & Baths
Kefali Villa consists of three independent residences, which are rent together as one, for big families and friends. Each residence features a fully equipped kitchen. The Villa can accommodate up to 17 guests in total (12 in real beds and additional 5 on sofa beds).
First Residence
The first house used to be an old warehouse, which dates back over 100 years. It is an area of 60 m2 and can accommodate 2 people, making ideal for couples.

Second Residence
The second residence is located just above the first one and it was built more recently, covering of 75 m2 and it can comfortably sleep up to 5 guests.
