Amazing place for (big) families

We enjoyed our stay so much, thank you Yiannis! The house is big, very clean, we got so much towels and bed sheets. The garden is amazing, especially for children! We stayed in November/December, so pretty much everything around was closed in the village. But we got a rental car, so it was easy to reach Supermarkets. The beaches around are amazing, we could go there in 15 to 20 minutes by car. For us it was the perfact place to spend our vacation with the family and friends :)

A wonderful Cretan holiday stay

Probably the best holiday accommodation experience we’ve ever had. Yiannis’ house is absolutely gorgeous with traditional Cretan features, a big living area and a fully equipped kitchen. Some lovely Cretan treats had been left in the fridge for us as well as a big bottle of olive oil and other snacks. There is a huge fully fenced garden where our 2 small boys enjoyed playing, a lovely veranda at the back where we enjoyed our meals and which overlooks an orchard with olive trees and, to our pleasant surprise, a fig tree which we have without a doubt made the most of. There is also an amazing wood fire barbecue area. What made our experience that more special was Yiannis’ friendliness and helpfulness as he really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The neighbours are also really lovely, a little lady one day brought us delicious homemade cheese and honey pies. You can listen out for the local sellers who come by in their van to sell fresh fish, cheese and vegetables. Spilli, a cute little village with fresh water fountains, is a 10 min drive away, and the beautiful beaches of Plakias and Ammoudi about 20/25 min away. We would highly recommend Yiannis’ place and will definitely come back!

Logement idéalement situé

Logement très bien avec un hôte très sympathique. Localisation parfaite pour faire un peu le sud et un peu le nord de la crête. Je recommande.

Schönes gemütliches Haus mit idealer Ausgangslage

-Freundliche Begrüßung durch Hauseigentümer mit Willkommenspaket (Honig, Wein,Öl,Raki) darüber haben wir uns sehr gefreut -Das Haus hat eine ideale Ausgangslage um Rethymno (30 min) oder den Süden zu erkunden. Alle schönen Strände sind in 15 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen (Plakias,Damnoni,Previli etc.) -Das Dorf Koxare ist leider sehr einsam, aber in die nächst größeren Dörfer gelangt man binnen 5 Minuten dort findet man auch Tavernen, Supermärkte. Vorallem in Spili -Man ist nur 5 Minuten von der Schlucht Kourtaliotiko entfernt -Das Haus ist in einem stop Zustand, und der Garten /Terassen eine Wohlfühloase Es war ein sehr schöner erholsamer Urlaub . Beautiful spot, great owners!

We spent our holidays with our family and kids and enjoyed it to the fullest: beautiful, quiet and comfortable spot with all facilities there. We enjoyed the owners' hospitality and great food! Would definitely recommend this place.

Es war ein tolles Lage,ruhiges gegend,liegt 10 minuten von Meer ,und 15 minuten von Stadt...Das Haus ist genial fûr Familie,alles sehr sauber,und die Menschen sehr nett und hilfsbereit!!!!Wir empfehlen es mit geschlossenen Augen!!!!!
