“Die Unterkunft war alles in allem sehr gut! Und die Mitarbeitenden durch und durch freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Weg zum Strand ist allerdings doch etwas weiter und anstrengender als erwartet. Zudem ist der Strand im Vergleich zu anderen leider nicht besonders, sodass wir wenig Zeit in Acharavi selbst verbracht haben. Auch das Frühstück ist ausbaufähig, sowohl geschmacklich als auch von der Auswahl. Alles andere war jedoch top! ”

“This hotel is just a little bit like a resort but also a little like a good B&B. Great stay in nice hotel close to harbor. It was a little hard to find, the hotel doesn't appear on Apple or Google maps, and there are a couple hotels with similar names. I drove to the main roundabout by the harbor and someone from the hotel came out to guide me in. Once you know where it is, it is easy. “Eine kleine Unterkunft fußläufig zum Strand und kleinen Geschäften. Für den Preis okay. Das Zimmer war recht geräumig. Badezimmer besonders die Dusche relativ eng. Zweimal war für kurze Zeit kein Wasser gekommen. Wir haben es nicht gemeldet, nach einer Zeit kam es wieder. Die Töpfe waren ziemlich abgenutzt. Aber für den Preis erwarte ich keinen Luxus. “It was our second stay. Everything was good. Except 3 issues. There should be more cups etc. In the kitchen available. Second issue is wifi that most of the time is very poor or doesn't work at all and it needs some upgrade. And 3rd we decided not to use swimming pool this time, because it becomes basically public swimming pool. Entire neighborhood and people who doesn't stay at Avra coming to use the pool and when we arrived dog was swimming in the pool. It was quite discouraging to use the……

“Overall our stay here was really good however a few things could have been better. When we arrived there was no one to meet us or even any instruction on what room we were in. We had to find it all out ourselves by talking to other guests. Also the beds are hard and quite uncomfortable. Other than that it is good. ”

“Philippos apartments were very clean and the pool area was kept clean and tidy. We used the pool bar every day and the food and drink were excellent. No booming loud noisy music, and a very large tv screen which we were able to watch the sad events about the Royal family. All in all, a very clean and peaceful place to stay. “While Gouvia is not much to write home about, this hotel and some excellent restaurants in town gave us a great experience. The hotel is lovely, very clean and the staff couldn't be nicer to their guests. It looks like it has been recently renovated extensively. We have found five swimming pools but wouldn't be surprised if there are more. Our room was very spacious and clean. Sheets and towels are changed every day. There is a small supermarket about a minute away from the hotel. Gouvia town……
