“El hotel es sencillo con un hermoso jardín, las habitaciones pequeñas, no hay nadie que te reciba después de las nueve de la noche, ni nadie que te pueda ayudar después de esa hora, el hotel se queda solo y te dan una clave ara entrar. Si no consigues un lugar cerca de la puerta tienes que dejar el coche en un estacionamiento un poco lejano y pagarlo.”

“As others have said, even more lovely than photos. We were 8 couples aged 23-77 for a week with room for more. A real advantage is the en suite bathroom situation, albeit some bathrooms and showers roomier than others. Highlight is outdoor dining patio where we took all meals given the mild September weather. Chef cooked two yummy dinners for us. Also glad we ordered villa owner’s olive oil and red wine. Short drive to major Umbrian sights. However, we recommend you go for lunch in nearby……

Tutti molto soddisfatti, sia della casa dotata di tutti i comfort con un enorme giardino attrezzato ed una piscina che nella settimana di caldo torrido ha reso il soggiorno molto piacevole. Inoltre la posizione ci ha consentito di raggiungere agevolmente i luoghi che desideravamo visitare. Grazie”

“Wir haben die Unterkunft für 5 Tage für einen Golfausflug unter Freunden gebucht. Das Haus ist sehr groß, mit 3 getrennten Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern, was für unsere Gruppe ideal war. Alles war makellos sauber. Wir haben die großzügige Terrasse mit der tollen Aussicht über die römischen Hügel ausgiebig genutzt. Die Kommunkation mit Giorgio lief schnell und unkompliziert. Danke für die schönen Tage.”

“We stayed in August for 2 weeks in the villa of Stefano and had a great time. The house was fine, everything we needed was present in the villa, as long as we kept the shutters closed during the day to keep the heat out, we kept the house cool for the nights. We had access to 2 swimmingpools (!!), where do you find that? Stefano was a great host and always very helpful with advise and information about local sights to visit. We also enjoyed the local yearly festivities which are held in August.……

“Abbiamo passato sette giorni meravigliosi in questa casa in un paese che è una piccola gemma della collina umbra. Tutto il paese è stato finemente ristrutturato mantenendo lo spirito originario. La casa è veramente bella e ci siamo sentiti bene accolti dai proprietari che ci hanno coccolato con assaggi di vino ed olio locali. “We were a 3 generation family of 10. Overall very good, a lovely pool and a games room with table tennis and table football. Rome was reached by train from Terni. ( but check ticket prices as it varies enormously depending on the train) Lake Bolsena, Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Bagnoregio and Cascade del Marmore are all easily reached by car. Village pizzeria is excellent. We drove from Rome Fiumicino Airport, very easy using Autostrada. My family all enjoyed the soft river rafting near Marmore.……

“We knew that this place would be special, but it exceeded our expectations in every which way. The views, the people, the garden and pool, the peaceful morning sounds...there is something truly special about this place. Tiziana and Giorgio were extremely helpful during our stay and answered all of our questions/requests promptly. Also, we kept running into the owners of the Borgo (even at restaurants outside of town) and they couldn't have been more kind or gracious. We hope to come back soon,……

“We were looking for an area off the normal tourist track and definitely found it here in Moricone. Beautiful country side, my only negative was there was a dreadful smell coming from the laundry, some form of sewer problem says the plumber in our group other than that the beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked if small but a lovely quiet location”

“Wij waren met twee gezinnen, 11 personen in het totaal. Er waren genoeg slaapkamers en het zwembad is groot genoeg. Jammer genoeg zijn de keukens en badkamers zeer oud en zijn er veel dingen die niet werken, zoals de waterkoker, de oven beneden en de buitendouche. Alles is aan vernieuwing toe. De eigenaar is wel behulpzaam en is perfect bereikbaar.”

“The pool area is exactly like the picture. A real oasis. This house is for those who like originality. Its layout is unusual and the deco is superbly personal. So many touches that made us smile and feel happy. The house was delightful - very comfy, two big lovely double bedrooms (one very private), a small twin room very private, lots of little areas to sit down and read a book. The downstairs kitchen is a bit dark and damp so not a space we used. You have to be willing to walk down to the pool……

“From start to finish, everything was perfect. The owner was quick to respond to any questions prior to arrival. The drive up to the hilltop village is breathtaking! Be certain to follow the owners directions for an easy drive from Aquasparta. We were greeted upon arrival by the owners who were incredibly warm and friendly. They even presented us with a beautiful pastry, olive oil from his trees and a bottle of premium of Umbrian wine. The house (tower) dates from 1000AD and even has a medieval……

“We had a lovely stay, it was so peaceful at the accommodation but within driving distance of so many amazing towns. We did an amazing drive to Orvietto through the countryside and passed an amazing lake. We also enjoyed Marmore waterfalls and Lake Piediluco, a stunning village with boats and even a beach with deckchairs. Communication with the hosts was all on what’s app which made life very easy.”

“The house was gorgeous. We would have liked air conditioning in the bedrooms. It is in a room not needed or used. The garden furniture was a bit dodgy in places. However we loved our stay.”

“Siamo stati in tre famiglie in questa bella casa con piscina. I padroni di casa sono gentilissimi e molto accoglienti. La casa si trova in un punto strategico per visitare Spoleto, Orvieto, Perugia ma anche dei bellissimi villaggi medievali come Todi, Montefalco, Bevania, ecc La casa ha tre appartamenti separati con ingresso indipendente, ma c’e Una grande cucina in cui noi siamo stati in 11 senza problemi (colazione ma’ anche quando la sera faceva più fresco). Consiglieró sicuramente ad altri……

“Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen hebben we een geweldig verblijf gehad. Vanaf de grote veranda hadden we een schitteren uitzicht over de vallei. In deze vallei liepen schapen met de karakteristieke bellen om hun nek. Beslist niet storend, integendeel, het benadrukte alleen maar de mooie landelijke omgeving. Dorpjes en supermarkt zijn op redelijke afstand. Op 5 minuten een lekkere bakker ontdekt. Alles wel met de auto, omdat de wegen naar het huis en de dorpjes behoorlijk steil zijn. We zijn……
