The lady that checked me in was wonderful and very nice. The door by where I parked never locked and that concerned me, as the property was not secured. Walking through to get to my room with my children was unpleasant as the building reeked of marijuana. I understand it is legal in the state but I was not expecting to encounter it at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable - so the staff were great!

The parking lot was well lit and accessible. The bed was comfortable. We appreciated the location to Cuyahoga Valley National Park. And the room was cheap. However, the ratings didn’t match up to the actual room. The room needed maintenance, like grouting around bathroom tiles was missing and the carpet was dirty and sticky. The evening staff was slow to come to the counter for check in. I wish we stayed somewhere else for our multi-day stay.

Great location and very close to Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Cleveland. The staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was decent, and the pricing was reasonable. The property also offers good amenities like plenty of parking, a swimming pool, gym, and laundry room. That said, the property and rooms are in serious need of renovation. The rooms were not well maintained and felt dirty, with noticeable cracks and stains, especially in the bathroom. The air conditioner was extremely loud whenever it restarted, and the carpet looked very old and worn out. Compared to other Country Inn properties we’ve stayed at, this experience was disappointing.

The staff and breakfast was great. Old property pictures indicated a hot tub, but just be aware it is filled in and covered over. Other than that, the only other issue was that we had queen beds and definitely got full sized beds, which made for a few rough nights of sleep.

We booked a double queen but got a double standard. We made it work. Room did not smell very good. Beds were clean. Stains on walls throughout the room. Baseboards were filthy. I didn’t see any signs of bugs so we did not complain. Door to pool was broken. Also saw other doors broken.
