They are going through renovations but it is a very nice stay. The area is wonderful with everything right here. When I have needed anything they are very attentive and friendly.

A respite from the heat.

The room was spacious and had a comfortable couch. The full size refrigerator was wonderful. However the clean up after the previous guests seemed a bit hap-hazard, with cereal remnants on the floor and a pen and paper swept beneath the couch. Also, the room above had children running across the floor late into the evening ( well after 11 PM) and the water running in their shower was clearly audible.

Was listed as including breakfast—we were told on site that they stopped that months ago! Construction debris in hallway leading to room. Front entry jammed with furniture to be installed in rooms. In the room, tv was mounted in a location not accessible to either bed or to seating! Staff member was nice; said things will be better in the future! Sorry we picked this place.

Absolutely Filthy

I've stayed in plenty of cheap hotels but this one takes the cake for worst room. The staff was nice enough, and the hotel appears fine from the outside. Aside from that, the room was just nasty. Upon exiting the elevator on the 3rd floor, I was smacked with one the most foul odors I've every encountered, a mysterious combination of rotting fish, burnt hair, and musty funk. My room had brown splatters on the wall, a trail of blood stains between the bed and bathroom, and everything in the kitchen was grimey and sticky (room 312 if anyone want to clean it). The beds had vinyl mattress covers but still smelled like urine. Other issue beyond the hotel's control include loud arguments between guests and screaming children going late into the night. I didn't bother complaining to staff, I just checked out the next day.

One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because it's listed as breakfast included. I knew I would be arriving late & in a rush in the morning so being able to grab breakfast and not go find it somewhere was important. But upon arrival, James at the front desk told me they don't have breakfast available at all. Just coffee. He blamed it on hotels.com and said they needed to update but then I showed him the email from Suburban Studios itself saying it has a "complimentary grab-and-go breakfast." He just said again that they don't provide breakfast. I said, "yeah, I understand there is zero chance I am getting breakfast but they need to change what they advertise then." It's on expedia too. So - disappointing, but ok. I grabbed a trolley to get my bags and oh man it was loud and squeaky. And it was rumbling loudly against the rough pavement outside. I was afraid it was going to wake people up. In my room, I needed to wash my hair. There were no body towels included so I had to go ask for them. Then it turned out the hot water was gone. Turned all the way up, from the start, it was luke warm. I get that if it's peak shower time but it was 3am.. And the shower kept filling up with water - cold water. I didn't discover til after that it had a weird way of locking the plug in place to not block the drain.. Also the sink was clogged, too. Everything else was fine. Looked cleanly. Bed was comfy. Air temp was fine. Wouldn't be my first choice to stay at again, but no major problems.

Cockroaches in the room. Killed 6 in the bathroom alone. Sheets did not appear to be clean. They had some kind of wax feel to them. No food as advertised just coffee and hot water. Coffee was empty. will not be staying there again.
