My 2 star overall review is based on the value Normally I stay at the Super 8 right down the street, but I had a little bit of extra money and wanted to upgrade and thought of Radisson. Should be nicer than Super 8, but wasn't. Probably about the same quality, but at a higher cost. Both have pros and cons, though, so let's list them. 1.) Pet fee was $10/night as opposed to $25/week at the Super 8. 2.) The bathroom is cramped and tiny, and lacks a ventilation fan. If you don't want the people in the hallway on the other side of the wall to hear you do your business, run the tub. Speaking of tub, it took FOREVER for the water to get hot, and the tubs are TINY. Super 8 gets you a better overall bathroom including a jetted tub big enough for 2. 3.) The bed was extremely comfortable, as well as the pillows and bedding. Radisson wins. 4.) Both have mini fridges and microwaves. TV sizes are comparable, but Radisson has 8k Smart TVs, Super 8 doesn't. However, my TV wasn't connected to the network and I couldn't connect it. Thank God I took my Xbox. 5.) Radisson has cleaner grounds. Super 8 claims to charge a cleanup fee if you don't clean up after your dog, but apparently everyone ignore that policy. Dog poo everywhere. 6.) Breakfast at Radisson is $10/person and not worth it. Super 8's is free and still not worth it. Go out for breakfast. All in all, I say the hotels are about even as far as quality goes, but for very different reasons. But Super 8 is much less expensive.

Quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever seen. We left less than ten minutes after checkout. The beds vibrate. There was hair all over the “clean” sheets. There were bugs in the towels and toilet paper. The hairdryer was a fire hazard. There was an unidentifiable substance all over the bathroom wall and the carpeting was wet. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Get what you pay for it was a pool and the hot tub was nice. Hot tub wasn't very hot. There was a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. No breakfast. That's $10 extra. I took the dog which was only $10 extra which was nice. But luckily I found a blue pill underneath the bed before the dog did or it could have been bad news for my beagle get what you paid for. It was a nice property. Nice TV, nice comfortable beds and everything. The room was quiet. I would stay again but not the cleanest room

We really enjoyed the pool & hot tub area. Our room was clean, we did have to ask for extra towels, wash clothes, also toilet paper. The bed was a king size which was great but the pillows were very small. Overall our stay was nice.

Last time to stay here
Hotel in general is in need of much updating. Carpeting in lobby and hallways are unswept and dirty. Room carpet is a trip hazard and needs stretched/replaced. Bathroom tub liner was cracked and badly patched. Heat would not turn off automatically. Bed mattress lumpy and hard. No returns here by me.

Some sheets and towels stained. Mattress too soft. Broken coffee machine, though replaced, but they wouldn't give me coffee packets to use in it after that; told to go to lobby for coffee. Shower curtain torn. Cable TV didn't carry ABC

Kind of run-down
The mattresses were new and clean as were the linens. The lobby coffee area needed deep cleaning. The room had a musty odor. The bathroom needed a lot of work like new grout and probably new fixtures. All in all, not bad for the price but I will pay a little extra next time for a more up-to-date facility. The staff was very nice, though.

Our room was not clean, we complained and they did upgrade us graciously. They also gave us breakfast vouchers for our inconvenience which was nice.

The Radisson Hotel by Marriott Akron Fairlawn is not a Corporate Franchise hotel the owners were Foreigners and the live in the hotel why not tell the customer that's not fair the Tv in the Lobby was on their stations i ask.why tv by the bar wasn't on i have never walk in a hotel like this before tell people this is not Corporate Hotel.

Dirtiest hotel I have ever been in my life. Not only the rooms (and the very outdated bathroom) but the common areas, the elevators, the overflowing trash cans. Every floor I stepped foot on seemed like it hadn't been mopped for weeks.The gym had dirt and rust everywhere, the pool area was just filthy. Even the ice area and vending machines were dirty and smudged. Very cordial and corteous staff but cleanliness is a must, I am sorry. I hope they get around to take better care of the property.

Struggling with the Basics of Hospitality
This hotel is basically so bad it's comical. In order to get bottled water you need to use a vending machine that only accepts $1 bills and the front desk can't make change ?! The ownership/management here seems to have checked out.

My wife and 5 children and I arrived at this property only to find garbage cans overflowing, dirty carpets, smelly interiors, and disgusting beds. We checked in, went to our room, and immediately requested a refund. The staff was very nice and cooperative canceling our reservation and returning our deposit, and charges. We were able to find rooms at the Sheraton in Cuyahoga Falls. While the staff was very accommodating to our request to leave, I would avoid this hotel at all costs.
