El hotel a pesar que no es una instalación nueva tiene un personal súper amable y profesional, la limpieza es excepcional por tener servicio VIP PREMIUM me organizaban la habitación 3 veces en el día. El buffet es muy pequeño pero tenías la opción de comer el hotel que gustarás casi siempre lo hacíamos en Akumal es mucho más variado. Lo único que no se pudo disfrutar fue la playa estaba completamente llena de zargazo y la limpiaron en varias ocasiones pero solo tenían una pequeña parte en Akumal donde podías bañarte y también estaba llena de rocas. Solo permanecí en las piscina.

We loved our experience at Bahía Príncipe Sian Kaan. The only things we would change would be to update the rooms, make the garden jacuzzis more private, and more variety of food on the room service menu. Other than that it was a beautiful experience. Roberto at the front desk was amazing so was the ladies at the spa.

The property was fine, but not what I was expecting. First, I booked this hotel for the garden suite based on the pics of a secluded garden hot tub and private lounging area. The pictures were not an accurate representation of the space AT ALL. There is no privacy or secluded area. The hot tub was very much in the open for all other guests or staff to see, so we never even the space. When we got to the room I called downstairs to ask why it looked nothing like the pictures and was told “we don’t control what pictures Expedia uses.” The room was ok. The bed wasn’t great, pillows were awful and towels were scratchy. The thermostat in the room never dropped below 22 C (71.6 F), no matter how low we set it. Most times the temp was between 22.5-23.5 C (72.5-74.3F). It legitimately took 10 minutes for the shower to come to temp. None of this was terrible, but it’s also not “luxury.” The service at the hotel was NOT what I’ve come to expect from travel in Mexico. I return to Mexico again and again for the genuine warmth and hospitality of the people. While several of the staff members were very nice, there was a general apathy and even curtness among many members, especially front desk. Several times I asked about amenities or logistics and was either given the wrong info or flat out told “I don’t know” with no attempt to find out. The property is beautiful, quiet, & safe. Pools are stunning. Food was fine. Overall it was fine but I won’t stay there again.

I liked that we were able to visit the other three resorts under the Bahía name. Our stay was at Sian Ka’an which boasted an adults only but it was actually geared towards retired people. We spent most of our time at Akumal, better pools and swim up bar. The staff were lovely. However the food didn’t impress and the drinks were just ok. I had higher expectations for a Bahía resort but ultimately left disappointed.

Our trip had a terrible start as our flight was canceled the night before and we were scrambling trying to get there on Saturday, May 17 and ended up not being able to come until Sunday, May 18.As far as the room is concerned. We had an ant infestation and when we called the front desk, they told me it will be 45 minutes before someone get there. The gentleman that came spoke no English, so I ended up taking the bug spray from him and spraying myself Because he was acting like he was scared to spray. The shower could’ve been big enough to allow for two people to shower for the romanticism. The rooftop hot tub should have some type of cover so that the sun is not blazing on you. It was very uncomfortable sitting outside With no shade. The air conditioning barely worked in our room. Thank God for the two ceiling fans. When we first got there, we tried to make reservations for the other restaurants and they were fully booked for the whole week. We realize that checking every day between three and five, some reservations were canceled, and spots were open and available. The casino could have a lot more of a variety of gaming tables. The food at the specialty restaurants was OK to pretty good, but the food and a buffet was really good. The food at the 24 hour snack bar called the Cenote wasn’t all that great and I found a bunch of fruit flies hanging out in the salad so that was a big turn off.

This hotel is only a “branch” of what’s offered. Bahia Principe has a couple of other locations that are interconnected here and the best part is, that you can enjoy their amenities even if you aren’t staying at the hotel! Their location is great. You’re staying in the jungle and still get to reconnect with nature. Food was delicious at their buffet and they even have a 24-hour restaurant that also had great food. There’s so much to do here, and would 1000% stay here again. My only downside is that I wish there was more advertisement on the events or shows happening. They have an awesome app, and maybe it was just for me but it wouldn’t load any information. If there are postings of scheduled events/shows that would be awesome. And if there was, maybe front desk can include this during check-in. Like I mentioned, there was so much to do and having this information available makes it incredibly easy to plan. Instead of finding out last minute. :) this hotel was truly a great experience and would recommend it to anyone. It is right in the middle of Tulum and Cancun but secluded enough to avoid the high traffic of tourists. Theres wildlife roaming the area which is a great plus for anyone looking to reconnect with nature.

When we arrived they had our room in the club house area, which was away from the resort, nothing in the area, the pool was under construction. Didn’t like the room, so I had them give has another room outside the pool area in the main resort. The resort room was hot, the AC didn’t blow cool throughout the day. So if you wanted to take a nap you would sweat and be uncomfortable. FYI no beach you have to take a shuttle to another resort Akmul to enjoy the beach. We definitely wouldn’t recommend this resort, unless you are older and just want to do nothing but lounge around.
