「Good hotel with a side view of beach. They charged extra for breakfast and parking and did not have a coffee maker in the room or an alarm clock. Parking was very crowded with a lot small spaces designated for compact cars (duh) instead of a all standard size spaces. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. They are building a new hotel on the side so there will probably not be any more side beach view rooms after this year. All nearby restaurants were exorbitant with all but one place in gulf...

「Top floor was closed for maintenance which we didn’t know til we got there, it was the reason we booked that hotel so we were disappointed with that. The staff was great and helpful, room was mostly clean except bathroom could have been done better with getting other peoples hair up.」

「To better reflect the University of Alabama experience and justify the price point, the hotel could benefit from updated guest room renovations, improved housekeeping standards, and more attention to detail with maintenance issues such as broken curtains and worn furniture. Adding more Alabama-themed decor, photos, and school spirit throughout the hallways and rooms would also create a more memorable and authentic university hotel atmosphere.
