“I traveled with my wife and kids. Expedia messed up on our reservation, but the ladies at the front desk helped us out. Becareful booking out with expedia as they will tell you a "view," but really that view is of the parking lot, not the beach. Again, the front desk services helped us out and as usual, this property knocks it out of the park. The location is great. Right on the beach with a private beach (that now comes with beach chairs and an umbrella). We spent time on the beach and then……

“The property was convenient, the room spacious and clean. The staff was not friendly. Our first day, we left at 9:30am and returned at 3:30pm. Our room had never been serviced. The rooftop bar limited its menu “because it was a busy weekend”. There was supposed to be security on the elevators (had to use your key) did not require a key at all. Given the downtown location, this security lapse was disconcerting.”

“This review will be short and simple. I booked a 3 night stay and after the first night and when I woke up in the morning, turned on the light, I woke up the cockroach in my room. I checked out of the hotel and when I asked about a refund for the remaining two nights, I was told to contact Expedia since I booked and paid through their website. When I contacted Expedia the Customer Service Rep had to contact the Holiday Inn property manager about my refund. The property manager refused to……

“Always clean and comfortable. The staff are students and go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Arricia the restaurant there always has delicious breakfast and lunch. We love coming to stay or even just to eat! Perfect location by campus as well!”

“I ended up not staying at the hotel.I walked in my room and it smelled like cigarettes and because of some people lingering around the property, I did not feel safe. I would not recommend this hotel.”

“Location location location! All of campus is walkable from hotel. Love this hotel’s uniqueness. Bright large windows. Pool area is wonderful…only wish it had an outdoor big screen for watching sports in the evening. Didnt use restaurant either time we’ve stayed here. I’m sure it is packed on game weekends. But on others, there’s just no fun vibe about it. It reminds me of a small airport bar-lounge with an office bldg break room in the back. Other than that, everything is splendid”
