“Good location. just 3 mins walk to Old Town. Parking fee around 14 Euro per night, reasonable. We stayed in Room with sea view, Room and Bathroom were large, comfortable stay! Breakfast buffet was great with various selection. We choose the seat at outdoor with tent covered. We enjoyed the seaview so much”

“This really is a superb hotel. Location is perfect to explore the old town. The building itself is beautiful. The breakfast included is amazing. The staff goes above and beyond to be helpful. I had dinner one night as well at the hotel and that was delicious. If I ever come back to Marbella this is the only place I would stay. There are only 7 rooms so the service is very personalized. ”

“Well, the room is kind small but it is clean to live. Need to use shared bathroom, but it is clean. There are not too many facility in the kitchen, but it is still ok to have some simple food. And I think it located in the most beautiful of the city. Overall, it is a good place to stay with it price. : )”

“Balcony overlooked paddle courts. Didn't need the aircon. Room needs an upgrade, ie painting, bidet cracked, flooring damaged and tiles missing on the balcony. But good size, clean and comfortable.”

“Das Einchecken passiert alles online. Man muss genau in seine Buchungsunterlagen gucken, dann findet man alles. Für das Parken muss man sich ein bisschen umsehen. Das ist nicht ganz so einfach. Zumindest wenn man es kostenfrei haben möchte. Das Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber. Leider hatte ich relativ laute Nachbarn, welche meinen Schlaf etwas gestört haben. Die Dachterrasse war verschlossen, auch der Bereich zu Kaffee und Tee. Vielleicht habe ich es aber auch zur falschen Zeit versucht. Das……

“Centralt läge, fin uteplats. Rummet trångt och helt utan charm. Kök/kyl inte i anslutning till rummet utan nås via uteplatsen. Allmänt slitet och nedgånget. Sängen var okej och det var rent o städat. ”

“I suppose the kindest thing to say is that The Monkey Room is a "work in progress". The hotel/hostal is right in the centre of Marbella Old Town and although it sets out in adverts to be "chic" and "cool" it has a long way to go. While I was there a workman was on site preparing another cubby hole as a bedroom and I think my room was only half-finished. The nights were cold and only a single sheet covered the bed and, after moving my room to the one in the photo (instead of on the roof) I found……

“Un engaño. 1. Las fotos no reflejan la realidad. Los muebles son viejos, el baño no tiene ventilación, la cocina ridícula... 2. Muy MUY ruidoso. Está ubicado en una avenida principal que no paran de pasar coches y gente. Lugar ventajas no están acondicionadas ni son de climalite por lo que se le muchísimo el ruido. 3. La cortina en la ventana que da al patio interior se ha caído y no hacen nada por arreglarla. Entra mucha luz y no se puede dormir. 4. Pone que hay 2 cajas de matrimonio pero……

“Pungent scent of mothballs to camouflage the occasional smell of rotten eggs coming from the bathroom. Kitchen needs some work. Mattress sheets too small for the bed. Otherwise spacious and great location ”
