What a cute little town! We were here for my husband's 65th birthday...just a one-night getaway. This hotel is awesome! Our room was very large and clean, and the bed was comfy. We liked how each room had individual and adjustable (bathroom, bedroom, and dining area) heating units. It's old, but that's part of its charm. The amenities are updated, and the refrigerator is larger than most tiny hotel fridges. We will definitely come back.

I like everything about the hotel on the second floor and Barbacoa restaurant below on the first floor. The owners were easy to talk with and if I were in the area I would definitely stay here again. Note: No elevator but my wife are used to stairs.

Really easy check in and the hotel was quiet enough for a really great afternoon nap and then a good nights sleep after visiting with our friends in the area! Comfy bed for sure! Single room is small but it really has all you need! 😎 We will be back for sure.

This is a very unique place to stay. They really need to get the sign up out front so it's easier for people to find their destination. However, the room was very comfortable. The bed was awesome. Very clean and updated.

Stayed here for an overnight work trip and 10/10 would stay again. Amazing faculty and the whole experience was just incredible. Very nice rooms, like a home away from home. Nice quiet town not far from St. Joseph. Overall one of the best hotels I’ve been to in awhile! They also have a restaurant below with great food and smells. All of this without spending an overpriced amount. :)

This was the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was heated by a window unit that cycled on every 9 minutes all night long. I timed it. In the background was a loud motor running somewhere below the room. It never shut off. I had ear plugs in and a pillow over my head and did not sleep at all. The room was attractive, clean and the bed was good. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. There were no cups for the coffee, but that was minor compared to the noise. Nice coffee shop nearby and I really needed it before I had to drive.

We live the age of the building have been built in 1874! The rooms are SUITES and stocked complete with dishes, silverware, cups and glasses… NO PLASTIC! Mini refrigerator, microwave/airfryer, coffee maker, stovetop, beautiful cabinets with soft close. The color decor is gorgeous with dark wood and original doors, there are 7 suites upstairs and think back 100 years ago, this hotel housed 18 rooms! We had room 201 with footed bathtub and the bed was very comfortable! Great stay! Restaurant offers breakfast, not to be missed!! Thanks Dave!!

The restaurant below the hotel is delicious. The basic rooms are just a simple small room with a bed and bathroom, the suite was worth the extra money. Stairs are a little steep to get up carrying your luggage, Parking was across the street but not a terrible walk, Overall I enjoyed my stay.
