The staff was great! The property was beautiful. The fine dining was good. But our room could have been better. The blinds were filthy, My bed had something in it that needed brushed off before I laid down. The bathroom had hair on the walls and the molding was brown from lack of cleaning. This is a beautiful historic hotel. And the staff we encountered were great. But the cleaning staff needs to get better.

The desk clerk was quick, knowledgable and had me checked in moments after my arrival. I found my room perfectly arranged, with comfortable beds and well air conditioned. Bath area was well proportioned with bath and lavatory supplies readily available. I enjoyed an excellent meal at the Rosemary and Thyme restaurant. The staff was professional, respectful and very accommodating. I found the food selections appealing and my choice was delivered with great presentation. My choice of pork chop was tender, juicy and delicious. I would return to dine even if I was visiting without hotel reservations. Thanks for a great stay!
