We booked this location back in May and after traveling for 5 hours we arrived to the house and it had not been cleaned. The beds were stripped with the linens laying on the floor dirty, dirty towels in the washer, the toilets, sinks and floors were all dirty. The lights in the kitchen would not come on. We messaged the host who then called and stated that his cleaner was on vacation and the dates had been missed by the cleaner. He could not get a cleaner to come in the same night and as we were 5 hours away from home, we spent our first night of vacation cleaning and washing linens/towels so we could sleep and shower. The host did apologize and promised to refund us 500 first thing in the morning. We did not see the refund the next morning and figured it could have been processing issues so on Monday we reached back out with no response and again on Tuesday with still no response. We still have not heard back and have not received any refund. The house has not been kept up as shown in the photos, the hot tub was dirty, and the grill did not work properly. So truly disappointing the host doesn’t have the decency to respond to our messages or to provide the refund that was promised.
